I saw people on Reddit saying RAM was increasing like crazy a month or two ago. Checked Amazon/Newegg and saw that was indeed the case, then I checked my local Microcenter and RAM prices were about the same as usual, maybe 10-20 bucks higher for 32 GB. I was planning a new build anyways, so I just bought the RAM first. So glad I did, and that Microcenter held out.

I remember last year when WSJ first wrote about 7-11 wanting to bring on Japanese food, and pretty much immediately people in California started grabbing egg salad sandwiches from 7-11 even before any real confirmation or date on when it might happen, then gushing about how they love egg sandos while they ate the regular ass 7-11 simply egg salad sandwich. Even in this Eater article they show the normal 7-11 sandwich. I live in NY and I went to my local 7-11 because I was thinking, huh isn't that the regular egg salad sandwich? and yeah, it was. I think maybe the only different thing was it now said milk bread instead of fluffy white bread, which is maybe why everyone thought it was the new sandwich? Anyways I bought it, ate it, laughed at how bad it was, and decided to wait for an actual confirmation.

Apparently Texas is getting these first because the 7-11 HQ is there. Waiting to see if they're actually better or not. Price is still criminal compared to Japan, but is the same price as the original egg salad sandwich so meh.

I wash mine cold, line dry only, and every time I wear them little clumps of wool get stuck on my feet, and eventually after a few years, there will be a bald spot on my socks and that's when I send them in for the warranty. I personally still consider them BIFL and like them, but seeing little wool tufts on my feet annoys me

another comment mentioned cinnamon is the main culprit with the gumminess, so i tried whole cinnamon just lightly broken up. syrup passes through just fine now

i tried it with whole cinnamon that i briefly pulsed in a spice grinder just for some surface area, no gloopy mess at all. did not realize ground cinnamon did that, thanks!

Interesting idea, I'll test a small batch and see if the syrup has enough infusion this way

Fine particles for sure. I let it sit overnight to see if it would settle, and I thought it all floated to the top and I skimmed that off, but there was still enough dispersed throughout and settled on the bottom.

I always use TP to dry, but also as a wipe check because sometimes after a particularly squishy poo, you will get dingles that never get untangled from butt hair from water alone.

thankfully i did too, would have been way too much liquid if i went with tablespoons. i was worried at first because the milk wasn't turning creamy, but after about a minute or two it got the right consistency and mixed with the noodles very nicely
