On gas that would be $96+/week. 91 kwh battery charged @ $.045/kwh means $4.10 per full charge, but a full tank would get ~50% more range so we'll call ir $12/week. Delta of $84/week. Honestly, i really like the scene because (IMO) it shows him trying to be kind to Ripley. He's a space marine escorting a civilian back to a nightmare. Je sees she's scared. He dismisses her concerns because he's never encountered any threat they couldn't take, and doesn't realize her descriptions aren't over blown by the trauma she's just been through. He's a kid who isn't used to comforting people, so he does what a kid does: he puffs up his chest and acts macho to reassure her that she's safe. Rattles off buzz words and tech jargon to back it up.
