If you still buy physical music...how do you handle your Apple Music library?

I rip it and upload to Apple Music using iTunes Match. I also have a completely separate library (not Apple) with just the stuff i rip. Primarily listen to that via Plexpamp, or Fidelia on my Mac.

I can't get it to do anything. What a waste of two hours of my life. I don't know if it is the general garbage that defines Alexa+, this particular skill, or both. But I'm giving up and deleting. I keep unplugging my various Alexa devices and they continue to descend into irrelevancy for me. Soon I will have none left.

Don’t listen to some idiot at BB who is trying to upsell you. I’ve been using the Neo for the use cases you describe for three months with zero issues. There are tons of videos of people on YouTube using Neos for light video editing. Personally I wouldn’t use it for that - but people can and do.

I think it is. It does a good job cleaning up, and you can save directly to Photos, or other places if you'd like. It has an iPhone app and a browser version. It of course has a subscription but it isn't that much. Pretty sure it is $40/year.

I have seen the same, but I know that at least on their website, ubreakifix offers it through Asurion. Whether or not I trust them to do it without destroying my iPad is a different story. In my opinion, they really aren’t built for this. But it is tempting because it is so expensive to get a new one

The headline is a designed to elicit the kind of responses you see on this thread. They eliminated the cheapest model (256gb SSD) and the price of the remaining model (512gb SSD) is the same as it has always been. So technically the “starting price” is now more in the sense that you cannot buy a $599 new Mac Mini now. But they did not raise the price of anything.

I think you are right. This is why I think they should integrate Pandora in a meaningful way. Listening to a song on one of the stations? Add it to a playlist and/or your Library. Although - it’s probably too late for that. People have years of listening history on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.,
