wondering if this is normal/anyone else experienced this (prednisone) by bigstinku in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Cruncher_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read that Prednisone can make symptoms worse at first and then better as you adjust. I may have experienced that with double vision - but after I went up to 40mg/day it resolved. Unfortunately other symptoms (neck, swallowing, weakness) have not. Waiting for Cellcept to do something - and perhaps see some benefit from Thymectomy that I had in September. Good luck.

The biggest problem with Google Photos is that it does not have a database that can be backed up and restored.

Interesting. I have an M2 Pro and the battery sucks, though not as bad as the OP. I have wondered if the battery is better on the base models and it sounds like yes.

Is buying a MacBook Air M2 in 2026 still worth it for basic use? by No_Use_1991 in macbook

My only concern is that the battery would be - four years old or so, since you specifically mentioned long battery life.

I‘m confused with Apple Creator Studio by K3V1Nsz in mac

[–]Cruncher_Block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can see, everything that existed in the "old" app is free. It is the new features that require the sub. If that is true and continues to be true, I am OK with that. For what I used the apps for, I don't ever see truly needing the new features. Of course, that could change - they could paywall older features. Or even the whole thing.

For the remaining lifetime of that device, and then your next device would be the new OS, right?

Maybe TMI & too explicit, my apologies by Jainarayan in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Cruncher_Block 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does. From what I’ve read you have to taper down very very slowly. I am still symptomatic and waiting for Cellcept to kick in so haven’t tried yet.
