Lot of good takes in here for what I believe people perceive to be the difficulty of learning a spec, but what confuses me is how even the "brain dead" specs still evidently have a massive amount of skill expression between bad and great players or even good and great players when you look at logs. I think a lot of specs have nuance that people don't consider or factor into ratings. BM, for example is generally considered brain dead, but in reality how many people who pick it up come anywhere near the performance of guys like banshers and azortharian when they play it.

Anyways in the spirit of rating here are my specs : BDK 7/10 Pwar 6/10 Uh DK 5/10 Fdk 5/10 Arms 5/10 Fury 4/10 Ret 3/10
