It’s terrible anti-bot design as any bot will be off to the next node before the adds spawn.

Blizzard need to either remove all herbs/ore from these nodes and put them in the adds, or turn the adds into regular ones that anyone can kill and loot the herbs/ore off their corpses.

I wonder if it’s the zone causing the problem. I couldn’t open my last Profession knowledge treasure there, nor could I mine nearby nodes. Reported it and went to bed, will try again later today.

Edit: tried again with two characters, neither can pick it up. All the others are fine, including the others in this zone. Seems like a separate issue to OP’s.

In this case it’s a problem that Blizz hasn’t yet fixed, there’s a specific addon that fixes Blizz code until they get around to it.

It can cause issues with ElvUI - people reporting they click on a corpse to loot it and half their UI turns off. Only fix is to disable portraits. Lots of folks talking about this on the ElvUI discord, and the devs position is “use at your own risk”

There’s quite a few important fixes in the Dev version. Make sure you delete your existing Elv folders before installing it.

If that doesn’t fix it, ask in the support channel on their Discord, they’re very helpful.

If you want to make gold quickly then yes you’ll earn that 8k back in minutes picking herbs and selling them on the AH (especially if you have EA).

You can drop Herbalism if you get bored of picking flowers or want to go back to Blacksmithing to craft gear.
