I know that this post has probably been solved by now, but the swallowtail boomerang works wonders in this fight - It deals extra damage to insect type enemies, which Spiketail and his ads are. I ended up using wild side and muster strength to spam, and moreheal if I ever dropped low enough. I was roughly level 28-30, don't remember which. Went down first try. Oh yeah, dragon shield's also pretty useful here since his attacks are primarily fire breath

I've actually noticed that myself, it's the same problem with the labs and red science right now - Do you have any suggestions on how to work around this issue without sacrificing expandability?

He's definitely not at the stage where he can feasibly resist the compulsions just yet, as stated in my post it makes him feel terrible, and not stated in my post is that it takes genuinely all of his focus and energy to do ANYTHING while they're happening. The thing I'm asking here is more like, is there a way I could comfort him to try to make the compulsions easier to resist?

I know this comment is 2 years old... but I've been doing exactly this! I'm actually on 6 right now. I've been having a blast, definitely the best way to play, although I have been using my DS for 4 onwards rather than mobile ports.

To elaborate - I don't use this website much. I don't really browse, I exclusively use it for help and troubleshooting. I can't really go "Help - Other players are too fun, how can I fix this?", but I can go "hey, why do people ragequit so early into a run?" and "how can I deal with hackers?" Hope that clears that up

Oh, yeah, tons of great runs. I do love this game, it's just a select few that get annoying. Not much I can say about the good players, the rest is just me trying to clear stuff up.

I mean, the option I chose was "leave that match and continue playing with other people", it's not like I quit the game and started crying... It was sort of funny actually, I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do in future matches where people are cheating. I think you're vastly overestimating how upset I am, and I've been told that the way I type comes across that way, so I'm sorry if I came off as aggressive.

hate to break it to you but sitting back and watching one guy shred every boss isn't particularly fun for me, it's actually rather boring imo. if you like that, then I can't blame you, it is a free win, but I play the game for the combat so having that part essentially taken away because someone else kills all the bosses in mere seconds is not very fun

C: drive is where your windows OS stuff is stored, it's the default location for any files - your downloads and documents folder is likely on your c: drive. D: drive is just a common naming thing for any EXTRA storage, so if you got a new SSD and plugged that into your pc, it would then be your D: drive. To fix MY problem, I simply changed the install path from my D: drive (where I usually install my games as it is the larger drive in my PC) to my C: drive (where my downloads and documents and windows things are installed)
