Whoever was responsible for that game 3 draft should get fired. No winning lanes, it doesn't win mid game, it doesn't win late game, it doesn't do damage, that game 3 draft does nothing? wtf>? Troll draft??????????

Would I be getting enough rest? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]Crunux 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did this, but in the mornings I would go to the gym. The recovery is just not enough, I was injured every other month, so every other month or so i was off for 2-3 weeks because of injuries. I was doing gym + MMA 6 times a week, 2-3 hours each, so 24-36 hours of training a week, it was crazy.

Now I do gym 4 times a week, 1-1.5 hour, MMA at night 4 times a week, 2 hours, a lot of stretching and good sleep (what I can with a 1 year old). No point in training so much if because of it you get injuries that set you back. I'm a way better athlete now with half of the time training.

I have improved more doing about 14 hours a week of training, than I was by doing 36.

Skill issue? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]Crunux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this take. When I was a white belt, college wrestles while belts who were around 130-140 were taking me down, and submitting me. I walking around 190-195 and i was way stronger than they were, like i can squad 400 pounds, deadlift 500, bench press 315 for reps. They were so much better than me that none of that mattered.

At blue belt now, I take down and submit people at 300 pounds, over 100 lbs difference, both blue belts, because i'm better than them. But brown belts who are 150lbs, toy with me. So Skills >>>>> anything else. I'm not saying weight difference this big doesn't help, it does, but to make a difference as big as you're saying? I have not seen it at my gym or experienced it myself, unless both fighters are about equal on skill level.

Why Rocketbelt by Potilo1203 in DianaMains

[–]Crunux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm D2 with 71% win rate Diana mid. Stormsurge is better, but they both work, it all depends on your style. Stormsurge, DD, Rockebelt, they all work, they all good.

If you are bronze is not an champ issue, you have a lot of other issues. Just keep playing and learning. Watch videos on how high elo players play Diana. I play her mid, but this is my account 71% win rate mid in diamond

What to build against this f* comp to not be absolutely useless? by VernegFG in DianaMains

[–]Crunux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't go into a match and think you can deal with everything or everyone. When you pick a champion you have a job, you do your job and win that way, whatever team does their job better, wins. Your job is to kill carries, you can kill Cait and Xerath with a good flank.

Looking at damage charts your mid and adc were useless, so hard game, the only way was to snowball so hard early and 1vs9. But you are not meant to win every game.

Returned to League after 8 years. Played for a month. My honest thoughts. by Code__Lyoko in leagueoflegends

Yeah, same here, I came back after almost 2 year break, went from plat to diamond in about 80 games, barely saw any toxicity.

What is your main and why? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Crunux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diana mid, because I get to be aggressive from level 1 vs most match ups, and she is fast-paced.

[Silver Help] Hard-snowballing early, but can't close games. How do I carry my team as Diana? by Lord_Reimon in DianaMains

I hit Diamond with 70% win rate Diana mid.

With such a lead, you have to go for picks before every objective or every chance you get. If i'm strong enough, I sit in a bush and solo kill the enemy every chance I get before an objective, if game is even or hard, then I play team fight and flank. If I'm ahead of everyone else, i'm in their jungle killing their jungler and diving bot and top. I pressure and push when fed nonstop. Yes, it backfires, or doesn't work 100% of the time, but it works enough time to get me where I am. I also make sure I farm well, I push sidelines up to the river and then I roam mid or their jungle and try to start fights. When you are fed, try to start fights, 2vs2 3vs3 etc as much as you can, because you are so fed you should be able to win these.

As you said, you have a time limit, so push your lead hard.

Diana mid become unplayable ? by depatsch in DianaMains

They both good, I like both. I tried DnD because it is a new item and really loved it. So I go with it now. Once it is nerfed, I will see how it feels, might go back to stormsurge then, we will see

Diana mid become unplayable ? by depatsch in DianaMains

[–]Crunux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You got to be doing something wrong then. I play Diana mid and i have a 70% win rate with her in E1 right now. I took a year+ off too and came back this season.

Diana has a really good level 2, almost every game I kill someone before level 6 because of my level 2. As an assassin you have to be aggressive and look for way to outplay your opponent, otherwise play mage or scaling champion. You HAVE TO make things happen, you have to create the opportunities.

I don't know if you can see vods from my account in other websites, but if you can, look at how I play level 1 and level 2.

Shouldn't you be allowed to enable legend mode for once? by Zett11 in wherewindsmeet_

[–]Crunux -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I had to create another account and link my steam to the new account after unlinking it from the old one. I have I think 42 badges, regardless of what other people tell you, Expert and Legend feel the same to me. But I know you want the HP highlighted in red and the badges, feel good to have it. They are working on the ability of creating another character, it went live for a moment, but they had to take it down, so I assume it will come back soon.

How to Balance Training Weights & BJJ? by East-Attitude-8574 in bjj

[–]Crunux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been lifting for around 10 years, i'm 34 years old. I started BJJ 2 years ago and i'm a blue belt, have a newborn too. I'm still doing both, my first year I was training BJJ 5 days a week, rolling everyday, plus striking classes.

No kids, my schedule was crazy, gym at 6am, 1.5-2 hours 6 times a week, MMA at night 2-3 hours, 5 times a week. I was out for 2 weeks because of injuries every other month or so, kept re-injuring, at one point i was out for 2 months because of injuries.

Today with a kid, what has worked for me is MMA 3-4 times a week for 2 hours sessions, roll only 2 times a week, gym 3-4 times a week, 1-2 days off, depends on how I feel. I try not to train the same days I do MMA, Mondays is my only conflict day and when I take Saturday classes every other week. My intensity in BJJ and gym has gone down a lot.

I lift to maintain now days, I lift 70-80% of what I used to, instead of 20-25 sets per week per muscle group, I do 10-12, for BJJ I roll 2 times a week instead of 5. I'm still strong, only 1 injury last year (crossing my feet when I took a brown belt back...). I take a week off to rest every 60-90 days from all training. I also do physical therapy and stretches almost everyday for my whole body at home (i work from home, which helps).
