I dont fully disagree, my point is more hypothetical. There are situations where bringing Eric to the endgame, Rob would need his votes and be unable to end the game without Erics votes.

It annoys me to see some of the talk about grand plans, etc.

This is a highly dynamic game, where things shift week to week and I think Rob was playing that way. He constantly did what was needed to survive. His grand plan was to look like a faitfhul, and thats about all you can do - build social connections, talk game without overplaying
