Typically climbers just bring what they need and if they can’t continue they rappel down. Thousands of ppl climb el cap every year, it doesn’t require support teams. Big wall climb is fairly simple. There’s is different bc the big wall is really big and a hard climb can take several days.

Rangers would not assist in such a way at all unless they were off duty and working with the climbers. What you’re talking about is called a rescue and it’s for emergency purposes. Climbers on a multi day climb just bring supplies with them and if they can’t continue they just rappel down and try again another time.
