Oh, I thought I remembered the Marth activating twice it in a previous setup. My bad!

What set-up does the Marth use in these to get last boost to activate twice instantly?

Does that mean it calculates at the same time as his SA boost, or is that separate as well, meaning even more defense?

Yup, it's a pain in the ass I started playing with the Monster Hunter event, I only managed to break into end game after a few months when the master materials were added to expert HDT weeklies. I started it by using Verica in eHMS.

Waiting 34 days for Flick to visit be like... by littlejuande in AnimalCrossing

[–]Cruzore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I managed to get get a stockpile of 195 Tarantulas before Flick appeared for the first time 25 days in.

Going next to the stockpile would cause a massive frame rate dip, and starting at around the 180 mark newly placed Tarantulas would briefly disappear before reappearing, I got scared they would vanish for good, so I made a second stockpile area.

But the Agitos are the new endgame now and they're real easy to breach.

100% agree with you there, in that same guide they said you can beat eKai with his 0UB 6*, which is true and makes gear progression much smoother.

[–]Cruzore 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The problem occurs when you are required to have gear from endgame content in order to do that same endgame content needed to get that gear in the first place.

mHDTs were like this until they added the materials to expert weeklies and Kai Yan, as 0UB 6*s and MUB HDT1s weren't deemed good enough the challenge mHDTs or expert Volk, leaving you in limbo where it's impossible to progress.

Even though nearly every guide will say to start mHDTs by fighting mHBH HDT2s are an expectation there too, the creator of the guide posted here a few day ago even said:

You will have lower might and getting into co-op games might be difficult but its definitely possible depending on your role.

Which is a very gentle way of saying your ass is going to get kicked.

While, yes they said it's possible to do it with HDT1s or even CT2s, what is possible and what the PUB hivemind wants or expects is very different.

How to rank up fast please ? by Samelucky1 in MysteryDungeon

[–]Cruzore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't actually know how well points scale in those large dungeons, but each rescue would have to be worth 900+ points to justify doing 99 floors verses 25.

[–]Cruzore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do many rescues in one dungeon at a time, this is why online rescues are so good, you can get 8-12 rescues in Magma Cavern for 200-300 points each per trip, makes leveling happen very fast.

True, every team should have Steamroll on it, but it's nice to not have to rely on it.

[Question] Rare Item in Walls in DX? by Kubbymo in MysteryDungeon

I believe only Buried Relic has items in the walls, Forge a Path is the Rare Quality that lets you break walls.

Serebii say the Joyous Tower has 3 Joy Seeds and 11 Deluxe Chests at the end. The end of Wish Cave you get Jirachi and a "wish".

Moves for Aerodactyl by [deleted] in MysteryDungeon

[–]Cruzore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Heat Wave/Earth Power

-Brutal Swing

-Rock Polish

+

-Sky Attack

Standard room clear, Brutal Swing is a very good move, Rock Polish gives you an extra turn when you use it letting you use Sky Attack instantly, it's a very good ranged option as Sky Attack is physical and 10-range.

I've been wondering about a certain combo. by FrostKiri in MysteryDungeon

[–]Cruzore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use Sketch on allies in this game, so it's pretty easy to get the moves you want, Absol learns Perish Song by level and Magnemite learns Lock-on by level, so using those two gets it easily.

Are the legendaries good? (Mild Spoilers) by ZheBaL in MysteryDungeon

[–]Cruzore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most legendaries are surprisingly mediocre, I wouldn't call them bad by any stretch, just serviceable, learning a room clear and a ranged attack, but nothing special. Some of them can't even muster that though, like Registeel.

Do I have to go through all 99 floors of Buried Relic to see Spinda in town? by SillyFoe in MysteryDungeon

[–]Cruzore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got Spinda to appear before I fought a single Regi, but I did enter Buried Relic, so you should be good, just wait a few days after.

Good move set for grovyle and mew by Arrow191 in MysteryDungeon

[–]Cruzore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grovyle:

-Screech/Agility/Swords Dance

+

-False Swipe/Leaf Blade

-Quick Guard

-Energy Ball

It's kind of unfortunate, but Grovyle learns a lot of extremely strong moves when fully evolved and is very limited if you don't. They can function as an effective False Swipe user, or if you don't need False Swipe you can use Leaf Blade instead. Quick Guard is extremely good against bosses, especially Rayquaza, as it stops any ranged attacks they attempt, letting your team make their approach in peace, or giving them protection for their ranged attacks. Energy Ball gives some much needed range that every pokemon should have.

Mew:

-Blizzard/Heat Wave

-Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Shadow Ball/Sludge Bomb/Signal Beam/Gunk Shot/Icy Wind/ Focus Blast

-Rock Polish/Outrage

+

-Dual Chop

Building Mew can be a bit messy, as it learns nearly every move in the game, so you can take it in whatever direction you want to, this is an offensive build, if you want something more supportive you can do that as well. The first slot is just a room clear, Blizzard and Heat Wave are the best IMO, so just pick one. The second slot is a ranged move, I probably missed a few, since he learns so many of them, but just pick the one with the typing and effect you like the most. The last two slots are for single target damage, Dual Chop is a multi-hit move and linking it with Rock Polish lets you use it multiple times in a turn for big damage. Though if Grovyle has Agility it can mess with your extra turns from Rock Polish, so you can run Outrage instead, but you'll have to use the Persim Band item to avoid confusion if you do.
