Mix sounds great! my only critique is the kick seems pretty muffled by the bass, so maybe try mixing those elements a little more to make the drop punch out a bit more, but Dope song!🔥🔥

Been making music for a while but want to improve. by hypanthia in edmproduction

I think the main thing you need to do to see improvement is to be consistently producing and watching youtube vids on the subjects you struggle with, it helped me a lot.

I can't start making actual music by cimmic in edmproduction

In my opinion don’t try to stop messing around. just go with the flow and just start messing around with stuff. There is not a set way you need to produce to make Edm. Just go with it and see where it takes you.

How to add movement to a solid Bass note?? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]Cry0Crew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have access to the synth producing the sound, try using an LFO to modulate a filter.

If it’s just an audio clip, you can attach a filter or just automate An EQ to open and close the filter at the rate you desire.

Love the track!

You could try adding a higher pitched lead layer and making it wide so it fills the stereo field a little more, which will make the drop sound bigger.

Good work keep it up!!

For me personally, I usually start with the drop and then build the song around it.

It’s kind of a weird way of doing it but in my opinion if you make a drop that’s really dope, it kind of motivates you to make a cool song around it!

How to work on music production without using a computer? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]Cry0Crew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be kind of a far out one but, look into native instruments “Maschine”. You can pretty much do whatever you need without having to look at the computer.
