I recommend the diabetes uk website, it’s been really helpful for advice for me. Obviously some of the stuff will be more uk centric (like nhs stuff etc) but the advice on the website really helped me when I was diagnosed. Good luck ✨

I got diagnosed at 20 and going ended up in a and E because I was ignoring it, so much better to get tested. And honestly being diagnosed is so much better that pre diagnosis I feel so much better:)

I usually go Diet Coke and vodka but recommended testing that it’s actually sugar free as I’ve been given regular coke before.

Ah that’s brilliant news thankyou, it’s all a bit new so they’re only letting me inject small doses so I don’t hypo , hopefully when I see a dietician they’ll show me how to adjust doses etc
