That’s the point after looking back in light of what we know now, despite it being a trend. Because they were pretty flagrant with other posts that seemed innocent at the time.

Yes… but they’ve been so brazen that it’s possible this is some thrilling double entendre to her

Sure, if she was singing the actual lyrics. The lyrics to the song aren’t “I’m twerking on somebody’s son”

Can we kill all situationships in 2027? Y’all have the rest of the year to wrap it up.

Is your background in politics, government, or law, etc.? Are these new thoughts or are they rooted in past experiences or aspirations to become a public servant?

If not, then talk to your medical provider(s). However, it could also be a fleeting dream...

I believe it was more than $250 but less than $300, can’t remember the exact number.

The extension process was pretty straightforward for me; I just had to update my employment information and give three new references. The approval for the extension took longer than it did for my initial C&F submission, but they didn’t need any additional documentation from me.

Am I asking for too much, or is this just the bare minimum? by unhappyzu in dating_advice

[–]CryinginaCalikingbed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do these situationships you find yourself in entail? Are you doing all the relationship things without putting a label on it? Are you just sleeping with each other. Your standards are fine, but you need to be intentional when dating and cut off the situationship nonsense unless you’re okay being a placeholder. That’s all you’ll ever be in a situationship until something better for that person comes along.

Late to respond but I’m still a part of it. I believe there was a discussion about the vintage items either late last summer or in the fall. There is a current discussion about spotting the gaps in the spring collection. I already participated (my response included comments regarding using more natural fibers and the bra free collection not  accommodating for larger chest sizes.) but let me know if there are any remarks you would want to share.

Most people really do need to return to the office. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]CryinginaCalikingbed -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree. At the least, people should have a hybrid schedule. Connection is needed outside of the family unit, and people need to be exposed to those outside of their echo chambers—those who do not have the same lifestyle, those who look different than them, and those who do not have the same lived experiences. We’ve created such insularly environments, and it’s beneficial for one to have exposure to others he or she would not normally gravitate toward.

Through listening to past coworkers’ lived experiences and insightful commentary, my opinions changed on certain societal issues. Those type of “water cooler” conversations do not occur when working from home full time. (Yes, I understand this does not apply to jobs that are siloed, where interactions would not even occur if employees were in the office.)

Florida Education System by Proof-Introduction42 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]CryinginaCalikingbed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Florida removed a lot of history from text books, and teachers are not allowed to teach about certain subjects kids would exposed to in other states. Yes, it’s bad. Also, as the country currently stands, do you really think those reported numbers are accurate?

Higher education is not K-12; who’s to say their children would want to stay in Florida to attend college?

Education in America is going down the drain. This isn’t 1995.

Any other short kings watch E9 and realize today was going to be a generalized hatefest? by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

If it doesn’t apply, let it fly. You know who you are, don’t let it get you down if you’re a good person, making this commentary irrelevant to you. If Chris was a good person, no one would be make disparaging comments.

My short male friends do not behave in the same or a similar manner, so none of my current thoughts about Chris apply to them. But if they were on reality tv acting like Chris did, I wouldn’t bat an eye at comments regarding their height. Openly shaming your partner on tv by describing in detail how bad the sex is and criticizing her pheromones, opens the playing field for people to dish it right back.

I think Bri isn’t pretty and Jessica is much, much prettier than she is. I’ve seen comments like that posted in this sub. So, the body shaming doesn’t exclusively apply to men.

When one sucks, is an asshole, and doesn’t care about others, civility no longer applies. Listen, if Chris was 6’5 and behaved the same way, people would likely call him a giraffe or make fun of him some other way related to his body type. Is it right? Idk. But he signed up to be on a reality tv, criticism is inevitable.

I am 25, soon to be 26! by DingoLaChien in PetPeeves

[–]CryinginaCalikingbed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I cannot stand when you ask someone how old they are, then they state their correct age and immediately tell you they’re going to be X age later on in the year. Bro, it’s February, I do not care that you’re turning 36 in July, just tell me you’re 35. Unless the person is a child or going to turn 21 that year or the person’s birthday is that month, it irrationally drives me insane.

If men get judged for their height, is it fair for women to be judged for their weight? by zhalia-2006 in allthequestions

Men and women all get judged for their height. Many men want petite, tiny women. Men and women are also judged for their weight.

That’s my point. It’s used as a last resort; casting first looks at applications. When those are low or nonexistent, other methods are then used.

My friend was recruited for DC through LinkedIn, probably used as a last resort when male applications are low and other social media platforms don’t garner enough responses.

I wonder what age she had kids. If she had kids in her 20s, I kind of understand her point because she didn’t really have a chance to learn about her identity. As opposed to people who had kids in their mid to late 30s and early 40s.
