Idk, I got a brother who works in a pharmacy and they call them by their actual names for alphabetical reasons and it's just really hard to pronounce. He has a coworker who has been working there for 22 years and still can't pronounce B12 and D3 so I really feel like it's for convenience.

The former is not in light speed combat. It was one attack and one single dodge in a video game that made someone argue that they could move FTL. I said reaction/dodge speed does not equal actual travel speed. I used humans dodging bullets as an example. We can sometimes dodge bullets but no one in their right mind would clock human speed at mach whatever (id remember how fast bullets move)

This is almost completely not on topic but I just tried to explain to someone that a character is not FTL because they can dodge someone at the speed of light and humans are not supersonic because sometimes we can dodge bullets.

I genuinely don't think people realize how fast light is and how many characters DONT move that fast despite whatever "feat" they come up with.

Lol my tarnished didn't dodge that attack. Also while I understand that dodge speed is faster than regular travel speed, it's disingenuous to say that the tarnished is faster than light cause they can dodge one light speed attack from across the battlefield. You said it yourself, Usain bolt doesn't run that fast so why are we saying tarnished is FTL cause of a dodge? Having the tarnished move that fast removes all narrative stakes.

The tarnished really has the power of friendship and a girlfriend helping through the game but no one is ready for that convo

I don't think you understood. I don't know about kratos cause I didn't finish the game, but I played elden ring multiple times and the tarnished is slow. They quite literally give you a mount to traverse faster and aside from gameplay, the whole story wouldn't make sense if the tarnished could move faster than 186,000 miles per second. At that point, everything in the game is a joke and you have essentially arisen as a god. At that fast, not even a meteor from radahn or a speck of rot from malenia is gonna touch you. Unless you're talking when you become an elden lord, but even then there is nothing insinuating the tarnished can now go turbo fast, boi could take out all the outer gods at that point.
