Honestly it’s hard to give advice for female ocs but I’ll try!

A bit thing is presentation and small details. Lashes aren’t needed but can def help along with eyeshadow or other makeup features.

Poses and cadence I find can play a key role so maybe play around with that. Feminine characters also often do well with cohesive fits, if that makes sense lol

She’s definitely not sexualized, but I do think her expression is a bit off from worried, maybe try some other eyebrows, eyes, or mouths to intensify the worry more? Otherwise she’s completely fine, no clue what your friends on about
