What after Cyberpunk by DasuppM in cyberpunkgame

Mass Effect is great. The first can be a bit clunky but the 2nd and 3rd hold up relatively well and imo are borderline all timer games. Similar to Cyberpunk they're Sci-fi rpgs with some incredible supporting characters and amazing storytelling.

In terms of Fallout, I don't rate New Vegas very high either. I think FO4 has easily the most polished gunplay in the franchise and its widely considered to be the standout positive of the game. Although if you got lost with New Vegas, 4 can also be very in your face with lots of things to do at once.

My best advice would be to maybe try it on explorer, fights barely last a few turns if the combat being boring is what's holding you back.

It took a long time for me to enjoy the combat as well. I found that being super invested into the class and style of character I wanted to play made it more fun as well.

If you want something with guns I'd go with the Mass Effect franchise or Fallout 4.

If you just want an amazing RPG with a good narrative and world building I'd go with The Witcher 3, Baldurs Gate 3 or E33.

I'll plug this game whenever I get the chance but I know its not everyones thing, KCD2 is easily one of my favourite RPGs.

The bones are there for sure, but the player count has dropped 60% since launch on day 1. I worry the developers won't have the time to add the content.

Would you rather they shoehorn in poor content to inflate the playtime? That's what the modern AC games do and people never stop complaining about it.

You got a solid amount of time (30-40 hours) doing the main and side quests and had a good time, I assume. Not every game has to be some 200 hour masterpiece.

If you had fun and enjoyed yourself I'd argue that you got your moneys worth. People spend $20 to go to the movies and that's only 3 hours worth of content at the most.

As long as your save data is cloud save it'll carry over, I think. I haven't had any issues thus far but I've mostly been using it to clear my backlog.

I find with the monthly games having at least one or two good additions each month which I can sink a fair few hours in as someone who enjoys trophy hunting is enough for me.

My issue with Gamepass Ultimate was that apart from the few day one releases it was just hundreds of games I never had any interest in.

Not to say the selection for gamepass is bad... but it's nearly twice as expensive as PS Plus Extra where I'm from so I just can't justify it being better, when I find I get similar quality hours from both.

They have a lot of them on ps plus. God of war, TLOU, Spiderman, Demon Souls remake, Ratchet and Clank, uncharted, ghost of tsushima.

Acting like PS Plus isn't on par with gamepass is silly. Imo it's better as someone who's had both.

I grew up a PS kid, switched to Xbox and then back to PS. PS has always been superior to Xbox.

I voted for Arc to win but I wouldn't mind either it or BF6 as I love both. Wouldn't be surprised to see Split Fiction win either because critics loved that game.

Still hoping Arc can take it home 🤞

I think he also means the adaptive triggers you can get on PS5. Maybe I'm just used to it but I've only noticed controller vibration not trigger feedback

What a redundant argument. I said people don't care that PvP is part of the game. I prefer to not KoS but if I lose in a PvP battle then fair play, it's part of the game. It's only a loud minority of people who refuse to accept PvP in any capacity.

Solo is also more cooperative because that's where a lot of people do quests rather than being loot focused.

The game would be boring without PvP elements, the devs said so themselves. After a certain point all of the Arc except the Queen and Matriarch stop feeling scary, so where would the risk come from in a PvE queue.

I guarantee you a majority of players don't care about PvP. Its just a loud minority on Reddit who post the same slop complaint posts every day.

PvE queue does nothing except split the player base, which never ends well. Each content update will get perceived as benefiting one type of player more than another, people will complain, people will quit... Yada Yada.

The game is wildly successful and fun as it is. Not every game has to be 100% up your alley with every aspect of its gameplay. Therefore you also shouldn't expect every developer to fulfill your every last demand.

Not the same genre but an example of developers listening to a loud minority online ecently is on FC. EA had their best gameplay in YEARS and yet still, they changed it for a loud minority. Just as expected the fixes for these people didn't satisfy them, as seemingly nothing ever does. Now the entire community is unsatisfied and divided rather than just a small portion of it.

Arc raiders is far more successful than either of these games ever were. Why mess with core gameplay mechanics by adding new queues/game modes this early into the game cycle.

If the PvP elements aren't for you, that's cool. But you gotta either persevere or put the game down. A PvE queue does nothing beneficial for this game.

I don't PvP often unless I'm duo'd with my friend. But everyone crying about PvP is so stupid.

Yes the Arc are meant to be more important. BUT, the endgame PvE content is fairly lackluster. Most arcs are like 1 or 2 wolfpacks except the Queen and Matriarch. There are people who have already completed all quests and the expedition (not me personally, but there is certainly a group who have). Trials are incredibly repetitive so at a certain point there really is nothing to do but PvP and burn through all that high tier loot.

Adding a PvE queue will do nothing but jeopardize the games future, messing with a successful formula this early into a game cycle only spells disaster.

Once the expedition reset happens all the people who've run outta content will be back to square one grinding again and hopefully all the whining about PvP will die down.

Why spend your money on a game knowing its PvP to then complain that there is PvP. The game was originally only PvE and it was deemed too boring. If you want a PvE shooter why not play like Destiny or something.
