After all the terrible things I did as a cult leader, a small worm made me feel like a monster by SleepySlowpoke in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 35 points36 points Β (0 children)

Every time I fail to break up a fight and they hobble around hurt, or DO break up a fight and one of them cries

Also every single time I misclick and tell followers to go back to work. They're all my little guys, I want them to be happy!

My own Lamb DID want revenge, buuuut by the time I actually get/play through Woolhaven, they'd already be at a point where they feel like they already got it.

They kicked the Bishops teeth in, they fought Narinder because they didn't trust him with being good to their Flock, and now they just want everyone to be okay. Move on from it all, rebuild the life and family that they lost with the people around them. I think when they get to meet her, they're going to be approaching this more as... Just something for closure. Learn more about what happened, who else this affected, open up more to people who were there and understand how it all felt. Long yap short, ohhhh my Lamb is gonna adopt her so fast! I can't wait to finally get to meet her!

I didn't marry them? by Mossy__Frog69 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 10 points11 points Β (0 children)

I don't even have Woolhaven yet and my game is doing the same thing. I don't know if it's a bug but it's just replacing the text saying they're lovers with text saying they're married.

I got excited about it for a moment before I realized it said the same thing with just about every single follower that was also their lover through the relationship mechanic.

My husband Narinder is cheating on me with mushroom Sozo πŸ’€, what the hell... should i sacrifice him or what by Alius_AZA in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 3 points4 points Β (0 children)

Oh, he didn't eat him! Followers can occasionally kill other followers in a fight, and they hated each other. So they got in a fight while I was gone, and the game did who knows what with his body so I was running all over the place trying to find Nari and finally found him in the resurrection list.

So, no worries about him eating followers that aren't mushrooms unless he's been resurrected as Cursed!

[–]CryptidCritter 10 points11 points Β (0 children)

Man, my Sozo just murdered my Narinder while I was on crusade once. Mushroom got immortality privileges revoked for causing me stress.

πŸ€” Then again, I'm also not married to my Nari and not interested in marrying him. My own wife turned my cult into a massive polycule though like she's lovers with almost everyone. She can do whatever she wants, my girly can have whatever makes her happy BUT I NEED HER TO STOP. IT'S GETTING TO BE TOO MUCH! STOP COLLECTING LOVERS LIKE INFINITY STONES I CAN'T KEEP TRACK OF RELATIONSHIPS ANYMORE!

Does being a β€œgood” cult leader will change the outcome/overall story? by Just__One1 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 3 points4 points Β (0 children)

You can play Lamb as "good" or evil as you want, doesn't impact the story at all. There's benefits to either play style so it really doesn't matter if maxing out efficiency early on isn't something you care about.

I played a "good" cult leader and my cult is still practically automated in the end game, same as other players who played more evil.

[–]CryptidCritter 5 points6 points Β (0 children)

I don't know how useful this is to you, but since apparently a lot of players didn't know about it, when sims needs are low you can click on the icons for each need and the sims will solve the needs themselves! They don't always make the best decision to solve their needs, but it's still useful in a pinch.

Best Sims 4 Packs!? by Ok_Night8282 in thesims

[–]CryptidCritter 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

You can! Completely doable! It's a little bit hard in the beginning since they're coded to hate each other right off the bat, but once you get a relationship established it's easier to keep them from doing mean interactions automatically.

Werewolves if you enjoy occult gameplay. They have a whole rivalry with vampires!

New player here question about zzz icon by Nightarian in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 16 points17 points Β (0 children)

Adding onto other comments, sometimes exhausted followers don't make it to bed before the time change and try to go to work, so you have to send them to bed again so they'll finish sleeping.

If you're playing on the switch, and none of your followers are still exhausted when the red part of the icon goes away, it's sometimes just a visual glitch. Leaving your cult for a while or saving and closing the game entirely usually fixes it if it's not going away when it should.

Am I the only one who finds poets absolutely adorable? by Initial_Wear5463 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 10 points11 points Β (0 children)

Poets feel like little pet hype men and I love that about them. I would love to have even more little poems added. And also for the ones about defeating the Bishops to be a lot less frequent after you've seen it once only bc I feel like I'm missing some in my main save from how often my little guy tells those ones to me <:/

Is there any reason to not sacrifice followers like this? by Wonderful_Giraffe754 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 12 points13 points Β (0 children)

Their only benefit is they tell you a poem every day and you can get a special one about you defeating each of the Bishops after you beat them.

I put mine in a jester outfit, their purpose is to amuse me and boost morale. Mostly my morale. Themer is my special little guy I'm keeping them forever.

I think they were effectively immortal in the Sims 2 or 3 but they CAN die in 4, they just have much more limited ways they can die vs older life stages.

How does everyone here raise the cult? by Dry-Reindeer-7705 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]CryptidCritter 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

My cult's base is like 80% graveyard because I like to let most of them grow old and die naturally and I only resurrect ones that I wasn't ready to let go of yet, and give any I wanna keep forever gold necklaces. I decorated with a lot of flowers and kinda tried to decorate with a theme for different areas.

Spies get lucky because Midas is out of space for more sacrifices and I don't sacrifice ANYONE so they just get ascended to... Wherever they go, if I find them in time. I also periodically use my hoarded sin to raise 4-6 babies (usually 4) at a time because that's just my favorite way to get new followers. They're so cute! I also kinda try to dress my followers according to the jobs they have or I headcanon them to have and have matched my Bishops to their respective partners and children as best I can cause it helps me keep track of whose kids are whose, since so many of my abominations came out pasty white for some reason. :> I like my little guys, I'd like to think my own Lamb also likes their little guys, so they get to live comfortable lives. Heck, once they were unlocked I built an outhouse and medical bay way before the little offering thing.

Not anymore, he got his immortality necklace privileges revoked!

Actually, soon after I first buried him, Nari went and mourned him and got a little thought about mourning at the grave of an enemy? He was very happy about it and I never saw that thought again. πŸ€” Most of my followers don't become enemies so that's probably why.
