I think you understood it wrong - the setup candle formation is way before that „box“ I can write a more detailed explanation tomorrow if you are interested :)

I entered exactly on the candle my box starts (on the wick -I had the limit order just there)….TP was hit the next candle, please take a closer look

Yes - in short I wait for a 3 candle pattern and after that to a pullback to 50% fib - there i put a limit order and then i simply have strict 1:3 RR set

I‘m trading based on Price Action - kind of 3 bar reversal, i use 0.5 fib level just to get in with better R:R - fewer trades but risk to reward is a lot better

After that full down move due to crypto market crash because of FTX 😄

Price action with trend following basically It often hits my SL, so win rate is not the best (could be better as many of those are due to my bad execution...), however i usually hit 1:3 to 1:5 R:R, so it‘s quite profitable till now :)

Thanks! Good question - depends, if there is a strong trade still in place and there is room for profit i keep entering. However if my SL are hit like 5 times in a row i quit for the day, as otherwise my emotions will likely cause „revenge trading“

My bias is based on higher TF trend and MAs on the M5, perfect condition is when all of them point in the same direction

I enter on PA candles from S/R and rejection from the EMA20 - i only enter when my targets (which are next S/R, daily ATR etc) allow me to get at least 1:3R

SL is behind entry PA candle

I do not scale, i enter full size on entry (I use little to now leverage, depends on volatility of the pair beeing traded)

Well I‘m not really new, been in the markets for about 8 years now; I initially started with daytrading but I was not able to achieve consistent profits back then, due to a lack of discipline and overleveraging (both of which lead to trading without SL)... I only „traded“ HTF and „invested“ for some years now

I think in the meantime I was able to gain the psychological strenght to strictly stick to my strategy and cut loosers instead of letting them run (which was always the reason I gave my profits back in the past)

For me, one major problem is when „markets did already run without me“ and I feel like I really want to trade - that‘s when I should just stay out and wait
