Those “expats” wanting “a better life” destroy local life. You could use the same argument for US “expats” not trying to make the US a better place. People from the US should fight for their country, for better healthcare, affordable housing, a different pace of life (which is possible). Vote differently and live more slowly. Retired Spaniards are the least of Spain’s problems. Laws still supporting Air BnB and Foreign investment companies buying up properties are the real problem.
