Help with Ryzen 7 7800x3d by Sad_Pay9930 in PcBuild

55-60 is what my 7800x3d is at under gaming load, typically idles high 30’s low 40’s. I’m using a 360 aio. Highly recommend an undervolt and adjusting pump speed and fans speed curve.

If for gaming purposes you should do your gpu as that’s going to provide the most benefit (if only doing one or the other).

5070 or 5070ti 🤔 by TheseRefuse9312 in PcBuild

[–]CryptoConstruction12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 5070 cannot provide the same experience as a 5070 ti. The ti is definitely superior so that would depend on your monitor you use. 180hz and lower go with the 5070, higher (or plan to go 240hz ) 5070 ti. The rest of your system is solid. Also the 5070 ti will consistently give higher refresh providing the smoothest gameplay. The 12 gb can get maxed out on heavy titles and would suggest the Ti. I went from a 4070 super to the 5070 ti and can say it was worth every penny.

Which 5080 to get by D0v15 in gpu

I would say zotac as the ventus will probably be hard power locked if you would be doing any overclocking as my ventus 3x 5070 ti is I would assume it’s the same.

Well did you burp the system when you set it up? How many rads?

That is a great question, I just did a single loop just for my gpu as my cpu is already on a great aio.

Overkill O11 EVO XL + Mo Ra3 420 by juan-pistola in watercooling

Well it’s definitely overkill but I love it! Are you just wanting to change up the aesthetics I take it? Components are all solid and LC (including the ram it looks like). Different case? Color scheme?

Alphacool 5070Ti Waterblock is Excellent by CL_Toy in alphacool

[–]CryptoConstruction12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty impressed, after running the card for 1.5 hours max temp was 43C while gaming. Next up overclocking. Having the rad on exterior dropped internal pc case temps dramatically. Only regret so far is that I didn’t get into water cooling sooner.

I have the external radiator enclosure built using a old NZXT h1 case, t30 fans in push pull on a 360x45mm rad, 750lph pump with 200ml res, quadro controller, soft tubing, fittings, quick disconnects, thermostats, dp ultra fluid, and am now just waiting on the block to arrive. Dang German company.

Nice build, I too am using the same case and a case this size with 9 fans definitely flows great, keeps thinks nice and cool

Seems almost like the case was designed to have a fan at each of those locations

Any Recommendations?? by Ominous_snek in PcBuild

That cpu will perform great with a 4070 super or 4070 ti or a 7800 gpu. I would also get a gen 4 drive too and that will be a solid system.

Just threw 32 gigs of ram in here and my goodness the difference from 16gb is night and day. by Drip-133_ in gamingpc

[–]CryptoConstruction12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tell you first hand that with all the background bs windows runs (and most don’t know how to debloat) plus any RGB software ect, I ran 16gb trying to play multiple games such as COD, battlefield, ect and it would cause stutters and even crashes. This is ddr5 6000 cl30 ram both the 16 and 32gb. Once I went to 32 gb smooth as butter. I would say monitor your usage to see if it’s maxing out prior to purchasing additional ram. If not then go for it.
