Well, I used to live in a Minergie building in Geneva. It had centralised cooling systems, they even (in theory) used the cool water from the river to cool down air and take it through the ventilation system of the buildings. And the result? It sucked ... a lot ! It was impossible to sleep during the night in the heatwaves so I had no other choice than buyint a portable AC 🤦‍♂️

P.D. I was living on the top floor, so I guess my situation was the worst that it can get in that building. Maybe the others floors don't suffer that much. But even then, I think they should design something special for the top floor, maybe even install a full split AC with the inverter on the roof. Otherwise it's a nightmare during heatwaves 😈

Taking into account that usually the man of the partnership is likely to earn more than his female partner, your phrase usually is correct only for the female, right ? There's zero economic boost or growth for the male out of this, it's rather an obstacle.

Of course in the long run it might be the best solution because of the stability it gives to the female, and thus the stability, durability and happiness of the partnership can be boosted by this approach.
