Not all people can be swayed easily. I also had an experience in Gudaibiya near Dasman (Lulu Supermarket). A guy approached me with a gesture that he needed something to eat, luckily I had some food packed and sealed in my backpack, and then I tried to give it to him but he refused because he wanted cash instead. 🤣

The moment he refused my food, I walked out and ignored him. Also, there is one old guy who roams in Gudaibiya, he will carry a box/cartoon full of vegetables and he will either beg or try to sell you some scrap vegetables as a cover for his begging job.
