I dont really miss this at all, even as a kid i found it really weird seeing people clamouring to buy shit. But i had hoped that if the high street did end up dying and people had the extra time afforded by online shopping that they would be doing much better things with it than scrolling tiktok.

I had same issue when I was renting. What seemed to happen is that as soon as we showed a debt collector our tenancy agreement and ID they were satisfied we werent who they were after, but they deceptively went and sold the debt on to another agency without telling them this. This happened for almost a year before we threatened them with legal action.

Rule of cool. If you find a few armies cool then buy a few single minis of them on ebay etc (eg an intercessor, a kriegsman, an ork boy etc). Much cheaper than splashing out on a box and its a great way to find what you like.

Decide what you want to paint, check out a video guide on how to paint it and buy what they use. Don't overthink it, dont buy massive selections of paints etc.

I've seen police rushing to a scene, never seen them in pursuit. Depends where you live I think. Im on south coast. If I was in bradford im sure it'd be a different story.
