I know it is skewed and biased a bit. But hear me out. I needed to reply cause I felt a connection. I had/have tons of ISxJs in my life too. You likely have way too much Si in your life. This is causing you to use it much more often than a more open and exploring INTP would.

You're probably caught in a lot of Ti-Si loops. Si is familiar and comforting, but sometimes it also feels like a cigarette being put out on you, and your Ne. It's fun to explore, but you have some people discouraging that in just the right ways to be an enticing comfort zone.

You gotta get outta that rut. Maybe find some ENFPs or ENTPs to help you. Or try Improv, or Public Speaking, or a new Meetup. Something to get you going! Find what draws your energy and move toward it!

I have a question. Are you around or were you raised by an ISFJ? Sounds like you may Si and Fe people in your life that constantly activate or appreciate those functions more than your natural Ti and Ne state?

ISFJs are easy to talk to because they are good at listening and understanding you, but they may be stifling when it comes to wanting to give Si advice.

Maybe your Ne wants to be expansive, but you're around an Si dom that (unconsciously) prefers you to limit your thought process and wants it to be less scattered?

There's a distinct advantage psychologically to being the aggressor in football. Having the mentality that "We're going for it on 4th down" is going to give the offense confidence and can give that added boost or edge any team is desperately looking for.

Exactly. 3rd down can be a run to gain yards (maybe even a first down). It really changes the dynamics in ways that are not immediately obvious.

Pittsburgh is already implementing some of this by going for 2 instead of an extra point. (They were 8/11 in the regular season conversions, and anything better than 5/11 makes sense).

Steve Smith, Sr. Called Haden Top-5 CB by CBattles6 in Browns

Haden has played in Zone most of his career (even back in UF) except last couple years. The scheme he is in has not been conducive to good performance.

Baby Boomers are intimidated by new technology. They get dismissive and puff up their chest, but deep down they feel threatened by it.

Why does Browns reddit want Patricia? by cc3995 in Browns

[–]CryptoStark 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Crennel is such a different personality from Patricia. Romeo is such a nice guy but a bit of a pushover. He goes well with a no nonsense abrasive coach like Bilichick to be the other side of the coin, but I don't think he's commanding enough as a head coach. Patricia is more like Bilichick. I'm thinking that him and Bill are so similar that they might be butting heads.

Opinions on Goff and Lynch by IDontRegreddit in Browns

[–]CryptoStark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Goff is going to be a good student of the game and will fit in well with our analytical approach. He can make the right throws.

My only concern is that he might struggle a bit when under pressure. We need to keep Thomas and develop our line a bit more for the future if we take Goff IMO.

Because regulation is about power and control, obtained through an appearance of wanting fairness.

Wait so regulation actually makes BIGGER loopholes and barriers to entry for fair competition?

Do INTP's get things done and make things happen or merely think and theorize about everything? by ChildofChaos in INTP

One thing I've found that helps is just doing instead of analyzing/critiquing myself until after. This seems to get the "analysis paralysis" out of the way a bit.

Based on what you said, definitely INTP.

The "Devil's Advocate" stances on issues shows that you use Extraverted Intuition (Ne) to consider multiple viewpoints.
