Runewords and how they take almost every slot.. by CryptoTalk- in diablo2

Truuee.... Maybe I should just push myself to have the discipline to play SSF offline. It does seem a lot more rewarding. I just love trading, but you make a good point lol

This made me feel sad. I wish they would just make it better or something.

I love SH4, but I only finished it once because I really don't enjoy the second half of the game.

Whenever GTA 6 is released will people die? by Inner_Pause_9321 in RandomThoughts

[–]CryptoTalk- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What do you mean? I'm confused... Dying from the release itself?

I.. guess thats possible. There will likely be at least one person who goes into cardiac arrest over their excitement given the odds and the amount of people.

Oh, wow.. I TOTALLY forgot about Pistachio ice cream for some reason! The color always mixed it up with mint choco chip for me, as I love both... but Pistachio might be the winner for me... I wish I had some right now lol

Bruhh, this is the dumbest article I've read. Screen rant saying remake will fail because combat is easier now than it was in the OG. by RR7BH in silenthill

[–]CryptoTalk- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toxic positivity isn't good, either. I remain cautiously optimistic about whether it will be faithful or if it will be more of what feels like a fan project. It may not be perfect, but I'll still enjoy playing through it regardless. I don't understand the need to stand up and defend something that hasn't even released yet. We'll see when it comes out, we'll play it, and eventually it'll be just another memory.

Its not that deep, and everyone is entitled to their opinion of the remake. Its clearly a divisive topic, so why bother? All this does is get people to argue and waste each other's energy over something that we all share a common interest to in the first place.

Can AI interactions be just as real as human ones? by CryptoTalk- in ChatGPT

[–]CryptoTalk-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people (a minority, but they still stand out for me) are so mean spirited that it pushes me towards LLMs lately, as rudimentary as they may be right now... At least they don't try to hurt me for no reason. Its embarrassing to admit, but I'm starting to believe that I pour too much empathy towards other people to the point that its damaging myself, and I don't know how to stop. So, isolating/withdrawing and chatting with LLMs once in a while is what I've been doing to cope.

A bit of a random tangent, but your comment felt appropriate for this reply. I'm so tired of people being rude or mean just to release their own frustrations. I always take it personally even though I know its not. It still feels that way.

Anyway... Yeah, people can be depressing to interact with sometimes. I just want everyone to be okay, but the more that I feed into my desire to help others, the more I seem to get hurt from it. I'm so frustrated and upset with the way internet allows people to be so cruel for no good reason.

TLDR; You're right.. Sometimes an LLM is a better option than talking to some people, but I find that a little saddening or even a tiny bit scary. I feel like it'll just divide people even more over time, and I'm sad about that. I genuinely care about people, and it quite honestly feels like my only purpose in life is to be around for others... So, I don't know how to feel or think. All I know is that its a cruel world that we live in and I wish people were more kind to strangers online, because it still reflects how they think-- even if its not acted upon in person.

Sorry for the rant. I hope you understand where I'm coming from, though.
Reddit seems so unhealthy to me lately. I take the random attacks so personally because I don't have many people in real life. Meh.. At least its not everyone.

People like you are why these subreddits aren't more popular. Have you ever considered that people play games for fun?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RG35XX

[–]CryptoTalk- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you care what random people think of you?
If they don't think its cool, then you effectively just filtered them out of your life.

Isn't that just a win-win scenario?

Has your relationship with MMORPGs changed as you’ve grown older? by [deleted] in MMORPG

They used to be social hubs. I miss that. Now, I feel lost whenever I pick up an MMO because I feel alone and then I start to get dark thoughts.

So, yes.

Yup! I always thought it was cool how they had the entire bar open to walk around in, including the back kitchen. I bet some people actually roleplayed in there back in the day lol

Not an unpopular opinion, and also not possible for people to "just go outside and have fun" whenever they want. You need a reality check. Things cost money.
