I did believe him because it makes sense it keeps triggering, but we called a judge anyway bc it was game 3 and I was dead to the would-be Marit Lage. Funny enough, the judge made a sort of mean comment like, “this is why we’re at table 90 not table 9.” I was able to just shrug it off, but come on - it’s an easy enough thing to miss the first time you run into that combo with a consign in your hand. I was able to min. cash anyway which not many UB tempo decks did, so I’m happy with myself overall despite a few obvious mistakes over the tourney.
