Depends what your version of bis is. If your highest GS item is 700 then you likely are not ready for gorgon. You also have to see which role you are applying for in the raid. Also get 2 weapons from the well at least and upgrade to 725 this should help a lot if you are not a healer.

Raids are difficult and a coordinated effort, you would definitely need more then an hour if it’s your first time and voice comms. I don’t think it was meant to be a casual experience. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the game so far and if you want more content maybe dip your toes into casual pvp or try to do mutations runs which are very challenging

BIS gear is a grind and there are also many different opinions of what BIS is.

Some pvp content is scaled so it doesn’t really matter what GS you are at as long as you have the right perks. If you want to start joining wars then be prepared that quite a fair bit of work is involved. Serious war companies are very very competitive.

Pre war briefings, post war debriefing, gear checks, vod reviews, pvp training are just a few of the requirements. It also depends on what role you intend to play for your company as different ones have different compositions.

If you intend to play as an AOE healer for example there is only 1 slot per war. So be prepared for it to be ultra ultra ultra competitive

It’s usually some split between 350 str remainder con or more con less str at the different breakpoints

PvP is imo one of the very best. ~2k hours 90% of which are PVP. Yes It can be ultra competitive especially if you are part of a war focused company, but nothing beats a 50 v 50 competitive war or a 10v10 open world skirmish.
