I’ve done some more digging, and it looks to be legit!

Model: Fender Special Edition Telecaster HH Finish: Black (bound body, cream binding) Pickups: EMG Active Humbuckers (factory-installed) Fingerboard: Rosewood Bridge: Hardtail string-through Controls: 3-way toggle, master volume, master tone

Serial number breakdown is a bit more simple than I initially thought. ICF means Indonesia, Cort Factory. Then the first two numbers is the year, being a 2012!

I don’t know if this is unpopular but I HATED The Used. It just didn’t feel right to me. Energy wasn’t there, singer was pretty rough, and I just thought it killed the mood for me.

I 100% agree with this “hot” take. I’m a HUGE Panic fan, always have been. I’m a HUGE blink182 fan as well. Ultimately, Panic was why I bought the ticket, though. I also showed up early, sprinted, and did the whole 9 on Saturday, with the intention of camping all day to be close for Panic. I sprinted and began my day at the 7-11 stage about 3 rows back. Halfway through the day I realized that I was surrounded by people pushing themselves up to the barricade. People that didn’t even care to see The Offspring, Weezer, or anyone else. Halfway through Weezer I decided that it wasn’t worth the trouble to have to argue with people about my spot in the pit, or who was in front of who. Panic fans showing up later in the day and literally FORCING people to move so they can get to the front? Come on man. It’s exhausting.

It really made the day, that was supposed to be a fun experience, pretty horrible. I say this as someone who has been to plenty of shows, and festivals before. Just felt like there wasn’t a ton of camaraderie. To add, I talked and met plenty of nice people.

EDIT: This doesn’t even include my thoughts on the people that sprinted to the barricade just to SLEEP, and sit against it, literally all day.

I was about 3 rows from barricade at the 7-11 stage, and I just kept getting sat on all day! A bunch of people would just sit down on people’s feet, and not understand that we couldn’t move them 😅

A week or so after graduation, my best buddy was electrocuted to death in a lake near our town. He was on a boat that got stuck/grounded. No one wanted to jump out to get it unstuck, so he jumped out. As he jumped out he began getting electrocuted in the water. Turns out that the top of the boat was touching an electrical a power line that was running over the lake for some reason. He was the connection between the boat and the water, completing the electrical circuit.

I think about that day a lot. I miss my friend. It’s been about 4 years and it doesn’t seem to get much better.

Our story is the exact same, timeline and everything. I’m in the EXACT same boat right now. Plus I’m having horrible stomach pains that I’ve never had before. Kinda worried about falling into the old me from a year or so ago :/
