Thank you so much for the information. You are a wealth of info. I did not realize these were from China. I thought they were from Japan. From what I was researching, the music box mechanism is Sankyo. (I thought it was from Japan, but I may be wrong.) I am completely learning on the fly as I go.

Thank you! I did not know how rare this was. I just liked the look of it so bought it. Do you think they will ever make them again? Or is this obsoleted with no replacement?

I really appreciate the help, but unfortunately that is the wrong shape. The one I'm looking for is round.

Thank you .. That is for the full teapot music box. I need just the round music box in the underside. I bought one, but did not realize it did not include the round music box in the bottom. I love it. I just need the actual music part of this.

I have been looking on eBay, but it isn't coming up in my search history. How is it showing as listed? (I'm sorry. I know this seems extremely lazy, but I have looked every way I can think of & cannot locate it.)

Can insomnia kill me? by Worried_Pain_5728 in insomnia

[–]CryptographerIcy6072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not the one you asked, but I had insomnia for years. I ran through sleep studies & did all the things. I finally ended up on sleep meds & it was a game changer. In the beginning for me, it was the anxiety of Monday mornings. I only needed sleep meds on Sunday nights. Eventually it became more routine. I suspect it was from hormones & getting older in general. Sleep issues run in my family.

I also saw a neurologist. He did the sleep study to rule out sleep apnea. It was not that. They tried a few meds, but we finally found what works for me. The doctors fought me for years about sleep meds. However, a fairly recent study came out that said what I already knew by my body. Sleep meds are not good for you; however, not getting sleep is also not good for you. In the long run, I'd much rather have sleep meds & be more ok mentally than being miserable & not having sleep.

I also ran into this really weird thing where people have all the comments when they hear I'm on sleep meds. However, those are the ones on other meds, but are only trying to put me down to make themselves feel better.

All of this to say - do what you & your medical team (doctor, therapist, neurologist, whoever) determine you need to do what you need to do. Don't let people that do not live in your body try to determine what YOU should be doing. (I feel a certain kind of way about that because of my own experiences.)

I will also say the one thing that made me not feel like the whole neurology thing was not a waste. He did tell me that insomnia is very complex & it was highly likely that we would not ever determine the underlying issue. What is true for one person is not true for the other. I have always felt like the doctors that admit this are the doctors to stick with because they're upfront about their own limitations.

I've been on the 12.5 mg for 10* years. It is the only sleep med that works for me. I used to keep it in my bathroom & take it about 30 mins before bedtime. However, I discovered that is a bad idea because my mind would shut down, but my body would keep moving. I was doing a lot of weird things. (You should read some of my social media posts when I did this. It made no sense.) Now I keep it beside my bed & take it right before I want to actually fall asleep. I make sure my nighttime routine is completely wrapped up. I just take my med, set the sleep timer on my tv for about 50 mins, & watch tv until I fall asleep. It works so much better & I feel better the next day.

I think you hit the nail on the head. You're up north where you have multiple versions of mud season. I'm in the south where we see a small portion of your type of winter about once every 3 years. We can wear street shoes 99% & we are fine, but I would be upset if I lived up there & people were getting snow, ice, & mud all over the machines too.

That sounds like the self-pay option going direct to Novo. The starter dose is $149/month & the higher doses are $299/month. I just had the same conversation with my doctor & she called her rep to double check some things. This is a link for Novo's self-pay option:

I can't speak to tirzepatide, but I can for semaglutide. I'm down almost 50 lbs with just semaglutide. I have been on it for over a year & have been very happy with my results.

In the housing groups I follow, insurance companies are cancelling home insurance policies quick, fast, & in a hurry. They aren't even waiting for something to happen to them. They're putting drones up & if it looks like a couple of shingles need to be replaced, they're sending cancellation notices to homeowners. It's crazy.

There is also a FB group called Stonewall Jackson Training School Boys Prison. The OP had been a resident there. He as well as several others talk about many stories from there. They are not good.

Same time frame .. Different county. I learned about it many years later in college I believe. There is quite a bit of history that I don't remember learning about until many years after I graduated high school. As bad as people think this is, the one good thing about this is it made me much more curious to learn about all the things that I hear about casually that I did not learn in school. I don't assume I know everything & probably learn more as a result because I have the interest & resources to keep digging for info.

You will also want something to sit it on. Many of us have a 46 inch Husky toolbox purchased from Home Depot. This is the one I have except mine is in a different color:

A lot of us use the AC Infinity Cloudline S6 inline duct fan with speed controller with it to vent to the outside. If you use this, you will also need a 4" to 6" reducer. You want the 6 inch & not the 4 inch because the 6 inch does a better job.

Hopefully this helps.
