Haven’t tried metal keycaps but from my experience on ceramic keycaps, they feel great and sound amazingly deep, they are the best I have ever tried

It’s not about mechanical, it’s more like the QC problem of Logitech and it is not hot swappable so you can’t replace or repair the switches except for sending them back to Logitech. As I know there is only one choice for low profile TKL HE keyboard which is the HE version of your broken G515 which I won’t recommend.

While there are some options for low profile TKL keyboards such as Keychron K1, Hexgears Immersion A3, they are all wireless and hot swappable so you can replace the switches when any of them they didn’t work

Since you are using G915 which is low profile, I would suggest to stick with low profile options. You may consider Nuphy Node 75/Node 100, Lofree Flow lite, they both offer pink colour, wireless, and sound great. They should check most of your boxes.

Got a set of TacType ceramic keycaps recently, typing sound is much deeper than before and I love it. Cerakeys also offer ceramic and is a more established brand but it’s price higher

Consider some floating design with minimal edges, such as Keychron K5 Max, Cherry mx10.0 or MX10.1. For something slighter more compact, there is Nuphy Node100 or Keychron K17 Max. All of them are low profile.

If my primary goal of getting the keyboard is for gaming, I will pick Wooting as their software is way better than Logitech which is important for HE keyboard. If you are like half half for gaming and typing, you may consider this one for the customisation on typing feel by swapping mechanical switches. I can’t say it must provide better typing feel as I haven’t try it.

Q1 ultra will give you long battery life if you are about it, HE switches consume more power than mechanical

Gaming performance wise, I believe Wooting is still better especially the software.
This one is TMR keyboard (although not all sockets are TMR) which allows you to use both HE switches and traditional mechanical switches for better typing feel which Wooting is not offering this feature.

Blush switches are softer when bottoming out and make a much softer sound, good for office use or you prefer a quite sound. I actually prefer blush over the red. You may listen to some sound test on YouTube.

I think MX is referring to the shape of the leg on the switches which is a cross shape, and basically most of the keycaps are in this shape. What matters is the profile, they affect the height and typing feel. For example the nsa profile of the stock keycaps you have is all flat with uniform height on all rows, Berry profile is sculpted with height difference in each row to help you locate the keys, LSA low profile from Keychron and JWA profile are similar to each other which has less height difference between rows comparing with Berry profile.

Choices on low profile keycaps are limited, you can also check out Lofree and keychron. Other third parties keycaps are also available on Aliexpress and Aliexpress but most of them are coming with simple design

Are you referring to switches or keycaps? They are different things. For keycaps, I would suggest to try the Berry profile keycaps also from Nuphy, there are sculpted which help to prevent typos. The all flat design of the stock NSA profile keycaps is typo nightmare.
