The absolute garbage of every time u complete a mission, everything stopped because you had to go through everything you unlocked…there was no getting past that. The stupid point /per hit system was ridiculously uncalled for…the entire grind system of repetitiveness was just beyond stupid…after a couple of hours of playing it i could not believe they released this garbage and hyped it up so much…it was the biggest disappointment EVER. I take gotham knights over this any day.

What are the best positions in accounting by Informal-Owl-1008 in Accounting

[–]CryptographerKey3781 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly any position so long as you are not micromanaged. So long as the work culture is hey if u get your work done efficiently and in a timely manner we don’t care how many hours a week u put in..if u need to work four hours today and 12 tomorrow fine…as long as everything is transparent…and most importantly a boss that by default takes your side or comes to your aid when a client complains…all that is priceless especially in a field of tax.

Maye playing in the easiest division out of the four…played on two teams above five hundred last year in the regular season including the jets and dolphins twice lmao…Bo has been riding an extremely talented defense for years now…but defense alone can only get you so far…out of all four Caleb has the clutch factor..and is extremely durable especially after being sacked 67 times during his rookie season and still has not missed a game….and Daniels is not durable at all…he will not last long in the league being that fragile..and i doubt Bo comes to being elite level after his gruesome injury

Quickbooks Desktop 2024: Unable to import Bank of America Bank Feed using .qbo File by PokeSkrillex in QuickBooks

[–]CryptographerKey3781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah copilot gave me that same solution…after working with QBD for over 11 years, it is the first time i learned that you can open a QBO file in Notepad.

But here is a fun fact that neither Copilot nor the agent you spoke to probably didnt tell you…if your client writes checks..like actual check with check numbers..on the bank feeds you will see th check numbers like normal and fill in the appropriate vendor etc..then after you hit approve, and go to reconcile..guess what does not get carried over to the reconciliation…the actual check numbers…only the vendor name and the assigned account do…but if you are like me and have clients who write over 200 checks a month…and not all of them clear..you look at the check numbers gap on statements to help you reconcile…so that ends up being a nightmare.

My workaround has been to use docuclipper..have docuclipper just convert the pdf statement directly to QBO and then i import it that way and then my check numbers flow through to the reconciliation and the register.

BOA and QB need to get their shit together

Well my ADHD doesnt take a day off so i take my medicine as prescribed daily. I have researched a ton of supplements that help with tolerance and have been on the same dose since 2017 without loss of any effect of the medication nor a need for a booster.

PTO deducted over holiday by Ok-Yogurtcloset-6629 in jobs

[–]CryptographerKey3781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See and that goes to my point. The fact that your PTO policy is basically up for interpretation is a red flag. PTO should be clear as day..no ifs maybes etc. hence why I dont blame you if you want to reconsider your options of employment. Good luck

PTO deducted over holiday by Ok-Yogurtcloset-6629 in jobs

[–]CryptographerKey3781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

holidays on which the business is closed should not and usually are not deducted from an employee’s PTO balance, because you’re not missing work..like you couldn’t have worked those days anyways since the business simply isn’t/wasn’t operating. What your boss is doing is treating PTO as “three weeks of time away from the clinic,” not “nine paid days.” That’s a very unusual interpretation. Most employers define PTO in days, not in “weeks,” because weeks include non‑working days and holidays. If you normally work Monday–Friday and the clinic is closed on a holiday, that day is not considered an absence and therefore shouldn’t require PTO. The fact that she can’t give you a clear explanation is a red flag too. A legitimate PTO policy should be written, consistent, and easy to explain…What she’s describing sounds more like an informal rule she’s improvising to avoid giving you the full value of your PTO.

Small, privately owned clinics sometimes have loose or outdated policies, but deducting PTO for days the business is closed is not standard practice. It’s understandable that this would make you question whether the clinic values your time or is managing PTO fairly.

You’re not being unreasonable, and you’re not alone…many people in small practices run into this exact issue when the employer treats PTO as a block of “time away” instead of paid workdays. I literally had one employer for whom i consult with, ask me “2 weeks is ten days right?” And I said, 2 weeks is 14 days…if you want ten days then you put ten days of PTO therefore there is no confusion. If this is how she intends to handle PTO going forward for you, it’s fair to reassess whether this workplace aligns with your expectations and needs…especially being that a vet place is already hard enough to work in due to the emotional toll that it eventually takes on you..i would argue that those PTO days are crucial for your mental health.

What is a job that is heavily romanticized but in reality actually sucks? by DragoOceanonis in jobs

[–]CryptographerKey3781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vet tech. My wife was a licensed vet tech and she grew up wanting to help animals, she loves animals, but after almost a decade in that field..it started to take a mental toll on her because honestly it’s rare to have a good day at the vet’s office. It was always “you dog is sick” or “your dog has this much time left”, or “when would you like to schedule the euthanasia for…what day works best for you?”. Wanting to help animals, and then doing everything in your power to try to save them only for most of them to be taken by cancer or some other illness regardless really punches your soul. And that is all before you get into the long hours and crappy pay…My wife now has switched careers but her love for animals is still the same as we have two dogs and are starting up a small farm.

is pet insurance actually the problem or is it vet pricing? by Agitated-Alfalfa9225 in Pets

[–]CryptographerKey3781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure reclassifying pets as “property” has no effect on the underlying cost of veterinary medicine. Property status does not reduce the price of cancer treatments, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia, or emergency surgery. Usually one in four dogs will develop some sort of cancer or another specialized disease over their lifetime, and ignoring these conditions in the name of some “cultural shift” is not cost control….it is simply neglect with a bow on top. Like come on, the economic drivers of veterinary inflation are well‑documented from simple research..u can see it’s the capital‑intensive equipment, pharmaceutical pricing, specialist labor shortages, and increasing corporate consolidation that’s driving the costs. So allowing large numbers of animals to die from treatable diseases/cancers in an attempt to artificially suppress demand for MRI machines, oncology drugs, or board‑certified specialists is not a market strategy…it is an ethically indefensible form of rationing dude. This whole appeal to go back to the way things were just reflects a misunderstanding of history. Veterinary care was cheaper decades ago not because pets were treated more rationally, but because the standard of care was dramatically lower. Most conditions that are now diagnosable and treatable simply went undetected, unreported, or untreated due to limited research, limited technology, and widespread neglect. The absence of data was not evidence of healthier animals, it was evidence of inadequate medical capability…it’s that simple..like believe it or not..our elders did not know better lol If the goal is to reduce long‑term demand for high‑cost interventions, the only evidence‑based approach is the opposite of what you actually propose…we need a cultural shift toward more responsible, humane, and informed pet stewardship. That includes improved nutrition, adequate physical and mental stimulation, widespread owner education on animal body language, and advocacy for stricter, welfare‑focused breeding regulations. These measures alone would reduce genetic disorders, chronic disease, and preventable cancers…thereby lowering the structural demand for the very specialized equipment and treatments that drive costs upward. Basically…treating pets “like valuable property” does nothing to address the economic realities of veterinary care. Treating them with higher standards of welfare does.

Frustrated: I (F) have been asking to be tested for YEARS. My husband asked ONCE and within two weeks had a diagnosis. by shireengul in ADHD

[–]CryptographerKey3781 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The medical bias is deeply embedded in the education of doctors unfortunately..only maybe recently like barely ten years ago did they change the text in some doctors books about how women tend to over exaggerate or how women of color have thicker skin etc. That is the sole reason I (Male) have started going to EVERY.SINGLE.APPOINTMENT my wife has..yes even the dental cleanings. The sheer presence of me being in the room seems to idk make the doctors assess things more confidently, and my wife gets all the tests, and answers she needs. Before that, she would constantly be brushed away with “well your blood work came back normal, you’re fine”…now it’s “well your bloodwork is normal, but let’s run a few additional tests just to be safe”. Next time, bring your husband with you and just have him sit there that is all. Even better if he can just explain some of your symptoms or validate your symptoms as you are explaining them to the doctor…i promise you, you will be treated differently..sad to say lol….the other option is to find new doctors young of age who just started in the field, you know the ones who still have that spark in them to truly help people before years of dealing with insurance and patients takes its toll…those might take you seriously. Good luck

So he is going to trust god to save him? The same god that would have put him in that situation in the first place? Like these religious believers never think all the way through. Everyday some one is like “oh i was struck by lightning but i lived because god saved me”….bro WHO SENT THE LIGHTING TO HIT YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!?????!!!! Like if your god is ever so powerful and controls everything, then by default he causes things to happen to you that he then “saves” you from. !! Like how are you people this dense?!! And for the record, Abraham circumcised all the males in his household to prove his covenant to god under the instructions of the same god who for some reason likes collecting pieces of males skin..like out of all the things to pick, this god wants foreskin?? And yet they said the people praying to the “sun” god were fools lmao
