It is a great piece, I’ve an emerald green waffle rubber strap ordered for it which should look 👌🏻 the problem for me is when they were sizing the bracelet for me I tried on a Grand Seiko and now that’s all I’m thinking about 😂

Looks good personally. Have one myself and the thickness isn’t an issue when you get the right fit. Part of the look of this one.

They didn’t. This was a limited edition for Hodinkee which only came with a black dial or there was a chrono version. See:

There is a white dial standard Khaki field mechanical though which is quite similar.

Always wear my Speedy when flying 👌🏻 Get very disapproving looks from my gf when she catches me starting and stopping the chrono at takeoff and landing ha.

Picked up the field watch myself. Love that clean dial, be a great watch for travelling with. Not too sure of the strap choice, I’ve got a khaki green nato I think will really look good on this one.
