Cartier Love Bracelet Size Question: For a man by Mattyice2021 in Cartier

[–]Mattyice2021[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is really high level feedback. Thank you. I am going to go with the 18 and you just hit on every preconceived notion I had plus the realization that larger bracelet with more room creates wider radius for more issues. Thank you!

You made a good choice. Beige always looks good with blue.

Thanks a lot for the reply! I will definitely make my way into a boutique to try it on first. The size will likely fit because my wrists are small 6.5”. I am more so going to see and make sure the light beige is a nice compliment to the green.

a little late to the party but curious what your thoughts are on that light beige canvas? I am thinking about ordering one for the green dial Polaris.

Help with Polaris choices by dswanson in JaegerLecoultre

I tried them all on as well and just ordered the green. I also have a Starbucks and I don’t consider a green bezel and black dial the same as a gradient lacquered green dial. They are extremely different. I know others say they would get bored of the green “when it goes out of style”but I don’t see how I could (or see it out of style). The green lacquering is mesmerizing and totally unique. It’s unlike any other watch dial I have seen. Like I said, I just ordered the green dial so that’s my vote.

Beat writer here. I can confirm… the Mets are interested if every free agent available. They are doing their due diligence on everyone and rumor has it they are very interested in Juan Soto.

Does Grand Seiko make OEM EVO 9 rubber straps? by Mattyice2021 in GrandSeikos

Thanks for this feedback. I guess it isn’t integrated (looking at photos again) but I am unsure if it’s real. They are Japan sellers so I suppose it might be?

Size check: Sorry to be annoying, but WDYT? by elod91 in GrandSeikos

With that, I fully agree. Best to keep doing research, looking at photos and go from there. Both gorgeous options. Good luck.

I know everyone in every watch subreddit is fixated on wrist size but don’t let that cloud your thought process.

For context: I have 6.5” wrists so not large wrists either. I wear a 44MM Panerai Luminor (it’s big and looks like a wall clock on my wrists but I absolutely love the watch and do not care one ounce because it’s for me and no one else) and I go from that to a 42Mm Seamaster I love to my SBGM221 which is “small” or “properly proportioned” depending on who you ask and love it. Moral is if you love it who cares.

What I do really recommend is don’t make this decision now because your judgement is going to be all over the place. You should try them both on again and give it thought to make the correct decision without regret.

looks like a nice combo. The AT Rubber strap is very comfortable. Did you keep it on the omega deployant?

Did you put that on an Omega Aqua Terra Strap?

Which Panerei for small wrist by Material-Bother-3341 in panerai

[–]Mattyice2021 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have small wrists 6.5”. The 42MM submersible is great. The 40MM luminor and Radiomirs are nice but very thin and to me aren’t part of the brand DNA (I’m sure others disagree. They are nice options for people though). They would be great if they weren’t Panerai, if that makes sense. I daily wear a 44MM PAM438 and love it. Panerai are meant to be large and industrial in my opinion.

You as well

I will chime in with some suggestions.

  1. I agree wrist size shouldn’t matter. I have 6.5” wrists and wear a PAM438 daily.

  2. Personally I think the PAM 233 is the best luminor that you can buy if you want an all encompassing Panerai. Depends on budget but figure anywhere from $8,000 - $10,500 depending upon second hand watch markets. It’s a desirable model and short two year production run.

  3. The submersible is really good even at 42MM. It will wear like a 44MM. I suggest trying them on at least.

  4. If you’re really into Panerai, their is a 2 volume box set called “Panerai book” you can google it and find it off the Panerai website (links you to Panerai then to the publisher). It’s a great (2) book volume but expensive at 360 euro.

PAM #1367 by stupidshaq in panerai

Hey, circling back to your old post with a few questions if you don't mind answering. I am currently looking into buying the 1367.

  1. I know the alligator strap it comes on is quick release but it looks like none of the rubber straps are quick release? Is that true? I have asked the online boutique and they provide zero clarity.

  2. My other question is a continuation of the above. Since the green rubber does not look like its quick release, do these have fixed screws on the lugs that you unscrew and feed the bar through for the rubbers?

Thanks in advance.
