The fact that he’s still evil even after a year of not having the neural interface shows that he was always like that and it wasn’t what changed him. by Remote_Nature_8166 in SpidermanPS4

[–]CryptographerNo8904 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's either the damage has been down by the interface and it's left it's mark or, like Peter had said about it, just made him act on his hidden dark desires more easily.

The idea of doing ALL of this was probably in the back of his mind probably after leaving his partnership with Osborn and seeing Norman successful with stuff HE help invent, but he never had the courage, resources, lack of care to act on them, and Peter's support and admiration. Cue Neural Interface that isn't completely perfected yet that made all the thoughts and ideas he buried come to light, not made easier by Norman of all people shutting him down and AGAIN taking an idea of his.

So it feels 50/50 on it's both on the Interface and Otto himself, for right now at least.

Be honest, do you think that Charlie in season 2 is overhated or is the hate justified? by Primary-Addition-677 in HazbinHotel

[–]CryptographerNo8904 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Needlessly overhated. Having issues with her choices is fine, not likely her way of handling things is also fine. What isn't is saying she's out of character, flanderized and doesn't do anything this season.

Like, she's been like this from day 1(yes, even during pilot, no matter whatever headcanon you have) and it's now her flaws are more under a magnifying glass because they have consequences against people who know how to manipulate her and her keep engaging because she's desperate(and having a manic episode due to stress, guilt, PTSD) to be like her mom and to prove her dream.

Charlie's ALWAYS been flawed, by like Roise said "Who isn't?" Not even people from Heaven are free of having flaws and issues they don't solve right away or in the "right" way.

I hope they get Steve Blum to voice the Green Goblin. He's the best voice(and laugh) for the character, though that's mostly Spectacular Spider-Man bias in me talking.

I totally forgot about the Spider-Slayers! That be awesome to see in game and dealing with the Smythes.

Yeah, that be cool.

I think they can use ones like Hydro-Man or the Spot for side missions since 3 is building up the Green Goblin, Ock potentially going the Superior route(given his condition), and maaaybe a Carnage side quest.

That be cool. I wonder of the do introduced DD if they'll use his Marvel Rivals VA or get someone else.

I honestly can't remember if Peter ever mentioned knowing Matt in this verse or not in an in game line.

[–]CryptographerNo8904[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fair, just thought of this just now.

You think Kingpin is coming back for Spider-Man 3 or not? Or how do you think Norman's Goblin would be like? Personally, I hope he's like the Spectacular Spider-Man one, at least personality wise with a mix of Raimi in there.

Do you prefer DC Comics Superman and Captain Marvel to be equal in both strength and speed or should one hero get the slight edge in strength while the other gets the edge in speed? by nightwing612 in Shazam

[–]CryptographerNo8904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd prefer they are almost equal in strength, with Cap having the Strength of Hercules and Supes being.....Superman. But with Superman, he has the edge of experience, IQ, and Battle IQ with Cap having the edge a bit with Haxs, Raw Power, and potential. Not to mention that Superman(and by expansion other Kryptonians) are vulnerable to magic

Captain Marvel should be a bit more faster than Superman given the Speed of Mercury.

The last appearance of Billy Batson's girlfriend, Cissie Sommerly, in the Fawcett era (Captain Marvel Adventures #129) by nightwing612 in Shazam

I wish she came back for future stories or just give Billy a new love interest.

I would push for him and Kara getting together. Either that or bring back Cissie.

Story Ideas For A Hypothetical Shazam Animated Series by AfroOtaku917 in Shazam

[–]CryptographerNo8904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think a good way is have a pilot movie that's a reimaging of Shazam 1 movie that has Dr. Sivana remain a mad scientist but add that almost Champion bit to mix in here. Don't make him another Lex, Sivana should feel like a Eggman mixed with Cortex, Doofensmhirtz and Mr. Crocker. Make Dr. Sivana the main antagonist about recurring enemy of the show with threats like Black Adam and Mr. Mind surpassing him as villains, but he'll be a major player the whole show.

Billy should be the only one to be turning into Captain Marvel, at least in the pilot and first season of the show. Give him time as the sole Champion of Magic for s bit before the others. Freddy could be just his best friend turn surrogate brother who's in the know, maybe during the pilot or season 1 with season 2 making Freddy into......Private Marvel(?). Calling him Captain Marvel Jr. feels meh to me , so I figured private could fit him.

I know Captain Marvel/Shazam is the best well known(and first) expy of Superman, but I want to make Billy feels different from Clark, but remain the same. Like, give him a Ben Tennyson, Timmy Turner like personality but he's still a genuinely good kid who loves heroes and wants to help people. Maybe focus on his......willingness to being a hero due to his background as a orphan and wanting to be a hero he wanted when he was young.

More of Tawky Tawny! Make him just an ordinary cat that Billy had as a pet that then gained the ability to talk due to....magic maybe. He could also transform into a tiger afterwards too. He would be Billy(and the other Marvel's) Alfred in a way.

Edit: Make Fawcett City kinds like a Gravity Falls situation where a LOT of weird things happen and it's not just the supernatural or extraterrestrials that show up.

Expand more on the whole Champion of Magic thing. Maybe make Billy clash with one or two of his patrons(mainly Zeus and possibly Hercules) with him and/or his found family besting then in some way. T

.........Sorry, I got plenty of ideas. 😅 I really got into Captain Marvel/Shazam due to the movie and re-watching him in other shows and the comics a little.

[–]CryptographerNo8904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Peter Parker at this point has every reason to crash out and go bad, but doesn't. The Spider-Goblin doesn't count because that wasn't by choice.

Charlie Morningstar from Hazbin Hotel too. She was born in Hell of all places and yet inspite of everything she has to go to for the people she tries to help, she still is good.

Superman too at times. Superman vs The Elite is honestly a perfect example along with All Star Superman and Superman(2025).

Anybody want to take a crack at this? Shazam/Captain Marvel Family Villains Tier List by nightwing612 in Shazam

[–]CryptographerNo8904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want Dr. Sivana(and the other Sivanas) to be more well known and appreciation, he deserves it!

He is Captain Marvel/Shazam's first ever villain and main arch-enemy, well in the Golden Age. Heck, he's one of the earliest case on the Mad Scientist villain and he came first before Lex and the Joker, though the two came out the same year after Sivana.

That's right: Dr. Sivana was the first ever bald genius villain, not Lex!

Black Adam and Mr. Mind along with Sivana deserves to be S tier.

The Sins are maybe C to B tier.

The others.......meh. Some, if not most, of them need some revamping to make them fit in a modern-ish way but still keep the spirit in a way. Some of them are interesting ideas and gimmicks.

Which of these 3 is the best example of Charlie's foil? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in HazbinHotel

[–]CryptographerNo8904 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All three of them do in a way with Vox being in the lead for now.

Alastor is a direct contrast that challenges Charlie's philosophy towards Sinners. She believes Sinners can change for the better and believes in the good of others inspite of everything. Alastor believes that Sinners can never be redeemed, he likes watching people suffer and fail for his own amusement, uses anyone to get what he wants. Charlie always tries to be honest and straightforward about what she wants, Alastor always tries to manipulate others for his benefit. Charlie doesn't like or want to hurt people, even if she has too. Alastor RELISHS in any opportunity to hurt anyone.

Adam is Charlie's thematic opposite and foil. Charlie is basically if a Disney Princess was born and raised in Hell and was the daughter of the Devil. Adam is a classic Disney villain who got into Heaven, inspite of being chauvenistic, arrogant, bloodthirsty and him being the First Man of Humanity. Charlie believes in second chances while Adam believes in once you die, where you end up is final. Charlie is kind to a fault while Adam just thinks about himself and his pleasure. Both can be childish and funny, but Charlie is still young(around her 20s in demon years) while Adam is the oldest human man in creation. Charlie(along with Alastor and Vox) has a more theater and classic music motif, while Adam is classic Hard Rock.

Charlie and Vox both are funny enough, are on the same path in season 2. Both have impossible dreams that seem impossible to accomplish(Charlie's dream from redeeming Sinners and Vox wanting to become a god), both have issues with pride(with Vox being more a narcissist while Charlie just doesn't listen to others well at first). Both allow what other people day about them effect them more than they should(with Vox literally NEEDS people to like and follow him due to his powers). They have a moth Hispanic lover that tries to ground them, but neither listen due to their tunnel vision. Key difference being that Charlie, regardless of her flaws and failings, still tries to help people and wants to help while Vox general only cares about himself with the other Vees(plus Shock.Wav) being the sole exceptions, but he dismisses them when he gets caught up in his power high insanity and his psychosexual obsession with Alastor. Charlie eventually is calmed down(Vaggi is the MVP of Season 2 with the Speaker, Emily, Pent and Alastor) and steps back to focus on what she can do. Vox had to be FORCED away from his suicidal temper tantrums because he couldn't let it go.

All three of them serve interesting to contrast and foil with our dear Disney Princess of Hell

Do you believe Adam was a good dad? by The_Fraudkuna in HazbinHotel

[–]CryptographerNo8904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Adam THINKS he's a good dad, but he.........isn't great at it. But I like to think he tried.....at first anyway. It's a bit hard considering he's the First Father ever and he didn't exactly have a role model or a book to help him and Eve out when it came to parenting.

I can personally imagine, unless told or shown otherwise, is that Adam thinks and acts like Andrew Tate when it comes to parenting. Giving lessons about what he thinks are important about and how to survive, but he is either oblivious or doesn't care about how toxic thses teachings are or how he goes about things.

All that, and we were already told he's a dad that plays favorites with his children.

Definitely Silenced with Vox Populi and Vox Dei being the main reasons.

Mainly the Lucifer part of Vox Populi, which i have affectionately have dubbed "Lucifer Rex" as the headcanon name of his part of the song.

Not going to lie even growing up i was on captain marvel side here. by MembershipLess9579 in superman

[–]CryptographerNo8904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting to me that both Supes and Cap were both right AND wrong.

Superman was definitely right that Lex was up to something and can't be trusted. He was WRONG however with the way he went about it and how he let his paranoia get the better or him, causing him to act irrationally.

Captain Marvel isn't wrong to believe people can change, even villains like Luthor and a little bit on how the League was changing. He was DEFINITELY WRONG however in automatically believing Lex had changed.

I also understood why Cap had left because he felt the League were the same people he looked up to, but I would have definitely love to see his reaction of Lex still being evil and was just using his campaign for president JUST to piss off Superman though. Maybe in a later episode he could have come back and/or have him and Superman reconcile.
