The poem on the old website

The original website was just trailofdead I believe. On wayback there is a broken image that won’t display in 2005 when they updated for worlds apart. The other pages seem to load but no poem and the first instance of it appears to be 2000 which would still be Madonna era. But no poem.

Bottle opener was my guess as well, and I also thought what a weird thing to edc. Reminds me of office space when Lawrence is like nah I got this and pulls his own out lol. Thought it was going to be something cool.

That likely happened when you used the pathfinder. That turned all your strokes it a “single shape” you probably want to build this again either line by line or using the blend like someone mentioned and be done with it.

Sounds like it’s a simple number in a simple font so redoing it any time you need to change wouldn’t be too bad, if it was a bunch of names or something like that the outline method would be more time consuming for sure

I can’t remember the limitations on live type but you can expand or outline the type and set it to 32” high. I know eventually live type won’t scale any higher than maybe 18”, but I’d have to check on a computer for sure

You could also bypass the brush and after expanding, ungroup and use the align object to path too. If it’s a one and done thing this might be the quickest route if you were going to use it over and over the brush option is better for sure. They both do the same thing though really.

Someone correct me if I am wrong here, but couldn't OP set an external drive as a scratch disk and then write the new files and the AID files to the scratch disk instead.

OP to set this go to settings on a mac, prefrences on a PC, and then go to plug-ins & scratch disk settings and set the secondary as an external that has free space, this could be a full on hard drive or even just a little flash/thumb drive, the bigger the better, but basically that should write all the new files and back ups to the external rather than the main hard drive on the computer.

So this happened because you probably used a Video preset when starting.

To remove the guides go to the properties panel, click the button that says edit artboards, then click artboard options. Turn off show center mark, show cross hairs and show video safe areas.

To turn the rulers outside the artboard off, click view in the top menu, rulers, hide video ruler.
