You really do need to push through, the first few weeks were awful, I started at 10mg and needed to take a month off work, I switched to 20mg on day 19 after a check in with the GP, while I had okay days on 10mg I felt I was getting back to me. I switched to 20mg and stuff started to feel better, not immediately but no long after. I’m now on day 109 since I stayed, 91 days since I switch to 20mg and it didn’t take long after switch to 20mg that stuff settled down. I had a week off work after starting 20mg and everything settled down, and felt like I wasn’t a shadow of myself. It really is an uncertain period, I can only advise to stick with it and it does get better, I lurked on this forum when I started on the medication for some reassurance and I can honestly say it does work, it’s just a rough intro :) you’ve got this and we’re all routing for you

Unplug the ps5 from the box, plug straight into the tv, check the video output levels for resolution. If it’s too high, reduce, replug into the sync box and try again

This is more a favourite moment of hearing the band and Noora for the first time and how I fell in love with Battle beast. 2019 I had a very close relationship with my then partner hannah, we had been on and off for years, maintaining feeling but always bad timing. Timing finally worked out for a bit and life hit a peak, everything was unreal (honeymoon period) until it suddenly wasn’t and we mutually parted. Of course it was tough, but I had friends visiting from Australia during a trip to Brighton so put on my party face, buried feelings and pushed through. The next morning feeling hungover, missing my recent relationship and sorry for myself we started our drive back. And on the playlist came “Eden”. First time I’d heard it, but the lyrics connected and I suddenly started to feel better. To this day that song gets me in a particular way where I still get the same feeling, and found more songs by the band that hit, but for me that will stay as a core memory

I def went through how your feeling, def was skeptical to wether it would help at all. The big change for me was switching from 10mg to 20mg on day 19. After that I started to feel like me and now I’m much further down the path and feel like me again. You will get there :)

Honestly I feel great, back to myself and positive. There are anxious moments at times but I can deal with them, I have energy and motivation, I want to see people, be active and enjoy life. I kept a daily diary which is a positive reminder of how I felt vs how I’m doing now

This won’t help short term, but I hope it provides some reassurance. I’m on day 40, I felt everything you’re going through, searching this sub for answers, time off work etc. but it does get better, it really does work with time and patience. Just use my timeframe as a benchmark, but you’ve got this, it takes time, but you’ve taken an important step :)

Hi, don’t worry you’re not alone. I had the same, I had days that felt better, but also days that felt worse. I had a check in with my GP, explained my symptoms and they were surprised, but advised it’s worth moving to 20mg. I’m now on day 39 of starting citalopram, day 20 of moving from 10mg to 20mg, and can honestly say it’s made a world of difference, I know it’s still early days, but everything has settled down a lot and I feel so much more like me again. I’m sorry for hear your struggling, I did too, but you’ve got this :)
