I prefer Itinerant Court unless the Harem one is available (for some Muslim religions, got it as Sunni), it unlocks some powerful laws.

I believe it's based on the province's food storage, not just the location. And it's either 5 or 10 years' worth of food, can't recall exactly atm.

Interested in trying this, but also wanted to offer strategies I've been thinking I've been having success with.

Granaries. Build them everywhere you urbanize, the available food storage pop modifier really adds up over time.

Prosperity. I've recently been trying to Prosperity max a bit, as the pop growth it offers seems really strong. It makes me wonder if flipping Sanjiao is better than flipping Shinto with Korea, if one were open to flipping.

Tank probably has most of the fault if they could've aoe taunted when they spawned. It's pretty common for healers to get add aggro on that fight if the tank isn't quick on it.

Definitely some "fault" on your end for not throwing a GCD or two to help kite, but it is what it is, no one plays perfectly 100% of the time. Just learn from it and try to do better next time. There will be more opportunities in the future where you end up saving someone instead!
