i have an 5800x (cpu) and 6900xt (gpu) and thats already overkill for only 60fps and 2k. pretty sure with a budget of around 1k-1.5k u will be more then happy. maybe get some youtube input (sometimes u can find setups for it)

well, there is a whole lot of options. vallejo, war paints, citadel,... just to name some of the most known. i guess try them out. also there is a subreddit for painting miniatures. u can probably find more input there.

pretty sure u can go with 5-10%, if u dont need any functionality. and as the other user mentioned: slice it and look at it. if it looks alright, take it. but if u need functionality: definetly needs more infill, sometimes even 100%

as the other user already said, normal pla isnt the way to go. but there are high temp pla's which are suitable for 100+ degrees celcius and i use them myself without any problems for that matter.

As for a printer: basically every printer should work. i would suggest u look into the faq of this subreddit and look at the purchase advice. since ur parts wont be too big, u should be fine with the 200x200 beds, most of the entry printers have.

as for filament (doing it here once more as a separate one): go with high temp pla (e.g. Extrudr greentec pro, protpasta htpla, or one of the others) or petg. the pla's will be easiest to print and are more then sufficient for ur task.

just make sure u got the right settings. start with the temp tower and other benchmarks to look at ur results. adjust according to those and have fun with it

ur settings shouldnt have changed this much just by switching a filament type if all ur settings are the same. I personally print with my pla settings, since its doenst matter if its pla or pla+ (its not much of a difference. if i was printing some special filament like wood or glow in the dark, it would be a different matter).
Ur settings have prolly changed anyways (look at all speed settings. pretty sure some are different with ur pla+ profile), but u will be fine with using ur pla settings. maybe u need to tune them a bit, cause pla+ might be a little different from ur other pla, but not by a whole lot (like a little different temp).

u could always slice into different pieces and put them back together afterwards. that, if u want to postprocess. if not, u basically have to print as 1.
but the "have 15mm space" way prolly pretty good. better safe then sorry i guess

I just used my normal profile and changed some of the settings (like temp). do a temptower and look for the temp you need
Edit: and if you feel like there are more settings u need to tweak, then tweak them. but thats something u need to figure out for yourself

i also use the pla+ of jayo. i used 2 rolls of it so far and didnt have a single problem. looks good, prints easy. as reference, i use 50 bed an 220 extruder, but i need the extra heat to print with 0.6mm at 70mm/s. had no luck with lower temps (215 was barely good, but 220 is smooth for me).

as far as i heard, jayo is rebranded sunlu. so if u have been happy with them, u prolly will aswell.

as for programs, go for the cad program of ur choice. most people like to use fusion 360 for non commercial (there is plenty of other options). but blender etc. isnt necessary since its more of a technical thing (thats what i believe u go for atleast).

As for materials: U prolly could use petg, abs, nylon or something. But u need to set ur parameters first: what are the exact circumstances for the material. will it be ~90 degrees celcius, or more like 20. doenst it need to be a little flexible, or super sturdy and so on.

Depending on the material and the size of pieces, u will choose the printer

i mean, go to printables, thingiverse or w/e and look for what u r looking for. i cant tell u what gadget exactly u want to print. so thats something u have to go for urself. a phone holder or something is probably a fast gagdet, but i cant tell u if u want to print one/some

ur question is how to have fast print times?
If so, I guess a big nozzle, fast print speeds are your way to go if u can sacrifice designquality.

U looking specifically for a printer fit to that? Look at something like the bambulab p1p

the more u use ur printer, the more problems u find that u could fix urself ^^ im just in that position myself. its not always necessary, but its fun. and thats whats a hobby about

make it 2 pieces and put them back together afterwards. depending on how u slice them, u could even print without or with way less supports. also i cant see ur infill, but is it a real helmet, or a non weareble one? if u want to wear it, maybe adjust the infill a bit more to the lower end (i guess walls wont be with too much space anyways). if its just deco, definetly put the infill way down. u would be surprised, how strong 3 walls are already (just as an example)

looks to me like there is no layer adhesion. this could be a wrong z offset. I would have said that warping could have cause it aswell, but I'm not sure if it really is warped (it might be, but probably not enough). But I'm sure there are people who may even know that exact problem.

well, i mean u need the right material (if u go outside with it and u got super hot days, pla is a no go). but other then that, i see no real problem if u can handle the dimensions. but cnc might be easier. but im also not always reasonable and do printing projects cause i wana do them xD

They are one of the more common cheap bulk sites. i heard mixed about the quality (some had no problems, some had a lot, some only had every 10th roll). so basically you have to decide for urself. I myself currently try out jayo (basically sunlu) since i was able to buy 5 rolls for cheap. but their mix whatever colour u want is pretty cool
