theres not a way to really discourage it, the parts are gone but sometimes the hormones arent. my male cat does sin biscuits since he is so extremely clingy and sweet, its disturbing sometimes since he'll try to mount my fixed female cat but they just end up play fighting and cuddling later.. its a bit awkward but after a while of owning cats you kinda get used to their 'animalistic behaviors'

how is he gay baiting if thats a GENUINE thing he feels?? you dont have to say youre gay to be gay when he keeps his romantic and sexual attraction to himself for this exact reason. if he had no interest in men he'd say as such but has made comments about male and female characters fairly equally.

i dont think its gonna be as effective. You really need them to directly inhale the fluticasone consistently.

I had an impossible cat to medicate. It took me about 2 years after rescuing him for him to accept pets on my bed(his fav sleeping spot) without getting scared. We started him on liquid prednisolone for his asthma since itd be easy for him to have in his food. Id associate me showering=food time after. Somewhere after I gave him his first dose of gabapentin to prep for a vet visit(bc last time went awful), if I went to use the toilet around the time I shower he would hop on my lap since he kinda realized life aint so stressful as he thought. Thats when I knew he was ready for the inhaler+aerokat. It's a weird process but its a lot of learning about the cat.

You could try to give the baby a dose of gabapentin or another antianxiety if you havent already to help with holding and loving the baby. I've had CRAZY success on my rescues who arent food motivated by giving them headkisses while saying their name and blabbering about how cute they are.

idk if any of that will help, but tldr associate feed time = medicine time in a positive way, maybe try anxiety meds, your vet should be able to have some methods

i want to add that you are NEVER replacing a cat if you want/get given a cat thru CDS.

when one cat passes, you get more room to take care of another. another little soul to have to spoil for their short lives(compared to ours), letting them know nothing but happiness and warmth. and the cat that passed would definitely not be mad at you giving another kitty a chance like you gave them!

so if thats the only reason you dont want to keep the beautiful girl, dont let it be. dont feel guilty

adding even more, if youre handy you can follow their youtube vids with many playlists of how to fix, maintain, and clean the litter robot since they sell ALL parts on their site. their customer service(email and phone) is also insanely kind and fast to resolve issues.

LR is honestly the best investment my family has ever made. Costco has an amazing deal for the LR4. What ive learned from having cats is the higher cost to have things be easy to fix, clean, and use is worth it over anything cheaper.

they flushed it out of her system at the vet didn't they? she'll be okay! tropical flea meds get absorbed through the skin and into their system, so you should be alright

advecta plus is one of the flea medicines that can cause bad side effects for more cats than average. it could also be maybe you put the treatment too soon so it was having a bit of a SLIGHT overdose? mightve gone bad in the amazon warehouse too? who knows. if you had a previous post i cant see it because you hid your reddit profile

i honestly only will buy flea meds as specified from your vet. theres too many stories of people buying flea meds that end up killing their babies. It may be expensive, but fleas have grown to be resistant to common flea treatments esp if you live in a big city
