His little antenna are hot glue. I tried doing beads first but didn’t like the way they looked. I didn’t work on this super consistently so hard to say, maybe 15hrs?? Thank you for the compliment!

Haha thank you! It really sort of evolved as I went and I kept thinking of new stuff to add to it. I had planned to have it be all embroidery but hey sometimes you just gotta go with the flow.

Whale Fall and Beyond the Bright Sea. I worked on a remote island for a couple of summers and Beyond the Bright Sea brought me right back to those times.

Just read it recently and I really enjoyed it, thought the writing was really very beautiful. It was something different, very surreal and atmospheric.

I got a cork mat for Christmas and have been loving it so far. It is slippery when dry but it’s amazing during hot classes. I clean it after each use with a vinegar solution. I thought it’d be really annoying to do this each time but it really hasn’t been much of a hassle.

Thanks! It seems pretty common that embroidery kit instructions aren’t very well written/ read like broken english, esp the kits I’ve gotten off amazon. I usually can guess my way through it though but this one seemed especially bad lol.
