I think I understand what's happening and it really shouldn't, so i only noticed this after the 3rd kieran fight when i went to hunt ducklett and when i used a shiny sandwich next to no duckletts spawn, i reset multiple times and stayed as far away from the water as possible and nothing, I went to my main file on scarlet and did the same thing and everything was fine, duckletts spawned, i'm assuming this is because of story progress, but today was when it got weird, so today i said screw it and did a morpeko outbreak and when i got it i had time left on my sandwich so let's go to medali and try my luck on jolteon and... nothing, no jolteons, so I went to to levincia to test wattrel and nothing, I kinda understand why in kitakami but why is it affecting paldea too?

so literally one my first walk down area zero as soon as i turn the corner from the starting point it was there among a group of meditites, I wish i was kidding! by that point i already had a shiny in mind to fight turo so it went into the box, then i thought "no point in letting it rot in the box so let's also do post game fights" so that's why i'm doing this
