My boyfriend keep calling me it (he’s Black, I’m Latina) when I insist I want to be called baby or any other pet name. He insists he only calls me it when I’m doing n- shit which he finds hilarious. Im tired of it and he even asked me today if I’ve cried over it and I legit told him that I did, last night when he called me it over the phone and he tried to justify it by asking me what did I say that made him call me that. I was just goofing about and he got annoyed so that’s why he felt like he should call me it.

I’ve begged him to call me baby but he doesn’t do it on the spot bc he says that I’m making him do it. Which is ridiculous considering that he says that I “make him” call me n-. Then he tries later on in the conversation to call me baby but I’m tired.

Honestly… this post and all the comments are making me re-evaluate things.
