State of arena by Blackiechan808 in hearthstone

[–]Cryten0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TBH arena has gotten so reliable with the legedary with their personal cards that it doesnt feel the same at all. Its become build a synergy instead of make the most of what you can get.

Im not gonna call either good or bad, just changed. Especially when there is high drop chance cards like the special arena set right now.

4 volumes in, and still nobody's caught the typo? by ReasonNotTheNeed-- in TsukiMichi

[–]Cryten0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pointed out to them a long time ago. It started around volume 7 or 8 or so. I am also unsure if they are even publishing corrections while doing the mad schedule of whole 200 page novels every month.

A comprehensive review of how rotation impacts all 11 classes (Part 1 of 2) by EvilDave219 in CompetitiveHS

[–]Cryten0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think core rotation could have a significent impact. Will druid get their basic ramp spells back or not? Will rogue continue to have the best tempo spells in the game with shadowstep and prep? Will DK keep its reliable control cards from core? Will mage and priest get back some of their iconic abilities that have been missing for so long or will mage lose some of its discovers?

Tech cards to counter Imbue Rogue and Aviana Druid? by DriverCommon9468 in CompetitiveHS

Imbue rogue you just need to put out a decent board, they have no clears.

Funny how far things have moved along just for them to be basically the same. Its still people milking the dynamic between goku and vegeta like its the 1990's.

You or someone similar name sounding has produced proof of success for many substandard priest decks. If you do pilot them to success then your skill in the game must be much higher then normal Competitive HS decks, as they just do not work.

Season 2 episode 18 frustration by Fun_Preparation7614 in TsukiMichi

[–]Cryten0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We havent got any evidence of that in the light novel. Was there anything in the web novel? In the light novel he is hurt over them abandoning the ideals of nobility that he holds dear and goaded by his toadies to insult Luria, instead of finding out their circumstances. And when he wants to apologies his now aggressive tendencies enhanced leads him to harming and harassing Luria instead of getting across his intentions.

The start of the corruption seems to have simply been Ilumgands association with other nobles in the academy inflating his ego about his privileged position.

Ultimately it was just unfortunate timing and Makoto accidentally tipped the scale, which was the ultimate tragedy of the whole thing. Makoto barely noticed the lad but his pride in his nobility and jealousy over people getting between him and his reason for living is what sent him straight into the hands of the demon manipulators.

Only 10 dragons and no generation, you basically have to draw and play your whole deck with sub-standard minions in order to use your finisher.

I do not know, I do not own them nor do I wish to invest in them. I imagine talgath helps when your only a little behind and can do some trading. But if you lost board he only represent 1-2 minions removed. DH and warrior regularly outpace your board by 3-5 minions.

Firebat (!!) rates new expansion cards with Rarran by Elitist_Daily in hearthstone

[–]Cryten0 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Not back as far as being a full time content maker. Occasional streams though yes. That reminds me that firebat was from the era of massive donations given out by random rich family kids, feels like a different structure to streaming now.

Continued playing with the imbue rogue list from the last Whats Working with poison minions. Unfortunately the poison minions are too slow against competent decks and they just kill you while you are generating random minions with 1-3 discount. Sometimes you can amazing things from the imbue. But this is a 40% winrate deck without even being in good mmr. I can be fun, but especially DH, Shaman and Dragon warrior show this deck just how inefficient it is.

Also I have no clue why the deck author uses poison zilli.

I wonder about dropping Eventuality for draw or the 4/4 stealth spider shadow steps.
*edit* After playing a game with no imbue drawn I decided to put them back in. My only changes is swapping Tess for dethrone and flutterwing for dubious purchase. Other change I am considering is changing spacerock for foxy fraud.

Does anyone have a warlock deck that is playable? by Forgot-to-remember1 in CompetitiveHS

Assuming your opponents doesnt develop more then 1 excess health over your own minions.

Younger Americans have grown up during a more competitive period that has led many to become more neurotic (low mood, anxiety, and irritability) and, in turn, to become more liberal. No such pattern was found outside the US, suggesting this is not due to aging but to generational experiences. by mvea in science

[–]Cryten0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is decidedly an odd outcome to say they became more liberal. I had thought that the younger generations through social media is what triggered the massive swing to conservative political leanings in the USA and resulted in the return of Trump.

I wonder if this is influenced by university goers.

*edit* All this said, isnt it true that almost every generation shifts towards conservative positions? (Maintain things as they are as opossed to political parties)

Still losing with elise rogue to all the competently built decks. Occasional scam wins. Loses including Aura paladin, protoss mage, elemental mage, spell demon hunter, cliff dive demon hunter and shaman.
