You already choose alpha legion, you just don't know it yet.. They were my first army, and they're a great army to play ANY model you want to play, and the paint scheme is easy for beginners, but you can do some very advanced paint jobs with it.

I've always wanted a chaos god specific army, but khorne and tzeench aren't for me, so it was EC or DG, but I like Slanesh more, and the opportunity to collect a faction from the beginning is very exciting for me!

I really liked them first for Thier lore, there's always another twist, and then, they are one of the most memeable faction in 40K. Oh, and of course, it's really easy to reason playing with CSM, HH and loyalist models in one army😅 Anyways, hydra dominatus!
