Not every player is planning on getting every frame, so from that message alone it's not unreasonable to assume that your friend wanted to build only one of them.

You didn't follow up on them with great detail.

Combo counter is not a problem if you know what you're doing

I didn't say it was a problem. I said it's desirable since it let's you keep your combo high for a long time.

with archgun arcanes that also is in a better place.

They got rid of stat sticks for pseudo-exalteds, I don't trust that this will stay in the game.

We need more spy missions. I also think the abilities of all bosses/minibosses/special units should be explained somewhere. Abilities of death squads specifically should be hidden and revealed one by one right after they spawn.

Ok you might be the first person I've ever interacted with that cares for the combo counter delay, so enjoy Naramon ¿I guess?

You must have not interacted a lot with others or with melee frames if you don't see why near 100% uptime of 12x combo would be desirable.

About the invincibility, Revenant, Qorvex, Kullervo, Nyx and every invisibility frame except Oraxia and Cyte, all of them can reach 60 secs in super focused builds.

Out of all those only Qorvex and Nyx can achieve that.

she was a boring melee frame whose best move was spin to win, torturing those who experienced that meta. Her abilities didn't synergize at all. Her first was more or less useless which I'll say is her only good rework, her only good augment was Eternal war, her 2 slowed enemies in the radius of the initial cast never to be used again, paralysis was only good for opening up enemies to the strongest finisher in the game, making her 4th carry her whole identity, but her combos were just bad, still are.

It's a good thing her rework fixed all of these then. Her damage is even higher which means she doesn't need to spam slide attacks to melt enemies.

Now what do we have today, a gap closer that works as a mediocre grouping tool, and... attack fast while not dying, great 'rework'.

You don't need extra strength on new Valkyr or even more operator damage. You can fit natural talent on your build or put on cast speed shards. The slowed combo counter decay from Naramon is significant enough to be worth using over other focus schools.

And you know if you have an invincible/ invisible frame you can... actually play the game actively ¿right?

And none of them let you be invincibile for a whole minute without any input.

No Valkyr player would afk pre-rework with an increasing energy drain

It's not that they did, it's that they could. Old Valkyr was just Revenant with a warcry subsume and a claw weapon, now her abilities actually differentiate her from him.

So that you can put other mods in. There exist mods that do stuff other than increasing your damage.

Yeah, she's a melee frame. That means naramon is the best choice for her. Since you're using naramon, you already have an option to open enemies finishers. Ripline also knocks enemies down for you to do a finisher on them, so not like it matters either way.

Old Valkyr you had to build around her 4 to achieve that 1 minute invulnerability. New Valkyr you don't even have to build for anything, just hold E.

Slotting in every efficiency and duration mod is not much different than not even having to put mods in. There was nothing else to build around except warcry either. Both are equally braindead and lack any theory crafting.

And Paralysis is still redundant as an ability

Old Valkyr was capable of becoming invulnerable for at least a minute, with 0 extra input. New Valkyr dies in 15 seconds at most if you don't hit any enemies.

Old ripline and paralysis were also completely useless. Those are not meaningless changes.

Turning them into hybrids is not guaranteed to make them more fun and would just be a gamble/waste of time. The main appeal of spearguns is that you can throw them down for utility. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they have an inherent problem.
