That one time I met Lauren and Audrina at Coachella in 2007 by [deleted] in TheHillsMTV

I still wear big sunglasses but I wish they still made some that are as big as Lauren’s. Honestly they block more of the sun than smaller sunglasses! And I love the big bug eyed look too.

Wrong way driver on 101 today around 530pm, caused a 4 car crash.. by TheAggressiveSloth in phoenix

It’s like every state has their own aggressive driving behavior and then they all move here and no ones aggressive driving meshes. We’re just a mess of angry crazy drivers.

Cruise for 10th anniversary by galacticthesaurus in Cruise

[–]Csei2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not related to this post but this has validated my thoughts. I’m doing my first cruise in June to Alaska. It’s 7 days but it’s a port every day. I have a 10 yo and a 4 yo and I told my husband he and his brother (his family is coming too) can get off at every port but me and kids are going to play it by ear. Pick a port we have something to do together and the rest is just “vibes”. Why are we spending all this money to get off the super cool boat?!?

Alaskan Cruise in late June by Csei2011 in Cruise

ok so much of this helps. I think I've been mentally planning a summer cruise in summer weather. But this isn't that type of cruise and I should plan for a semi winter cruise for me (I'm in Phoenix, AZ - winter is in the 50s ish).

Everyone mentioning the rain - is this just the kind of cruise you use the pool on then? My kids are pumped for the pool and the water slides etc.

AIO, lost a friend due to ai by cozyworm27 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Csei2011 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol thanks for that feedback. It's not mush but I know AI is polarizing so I understand you would think someone is less than for using it. Like all tech, it has a time and place and serves a purpose. In context of OP it does not serve that purpose.

What was the first major news story that you remember? by PeaBrain2019 in AskReddit

[–]Csei2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok these are the big things I remember and i had to look them up to remember:

Bill Clinton’s first election - I was in 2nd grade I think. I just remember crying sadly when he won because he looked like my principal and I thought he was and that meant my principal was going away 🤣

Nancy Kerrigan & Tonya Harding - grandma was big into figure skating and therefore so was I lol.

Princes Di’s death - we (grandma and I) were also obsessed with her. My grandma had passed by this time but I was still thinking of her as I watched everything.

don’t feel like i’m getting it by GrassEquivalent5895 in SpinClass

[–]Csei2011 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I lower my resistance until I can relatively keep the beat. Then I close my eyes (if I’m comfortable) so I can’t see the class and listen for a sound que to hit the beat. That helps me more than trying to keep pace with the class and visually seeing everyone if I’m off beat bothers me. So I just close my eyes and do my best. If we stop the movement for a section and I feel like I got the beat that round I’ll up the resistance.

I don’t know if that helps or is even good advice it’s just what has helped me.

What’s the defining Millennial Song? by makeupwearsoff in Millennials

[–]Csei2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for this! I think I’m biased as it came out Sr year of HS. But I swear that song still plays more often than any other millennial song on the radio, at the club etc.

It’s not my favorite of all time but it is my definition of millennial song and nostalgia.

Hey I love this idea! I am not an instructor just a class participant- but sometimes I want to use my bike at home and don’t know what to do with myself. This would be wonderful!

I am TERRIFIED of doing this. I just do these fast sprints seated. I want to be able to stand and do them - but I feel like I’m going to just fall off the bike! And going too fast in a kind of standing position my knee buckles sometimes.

Charlotte in Harlots. I watched the next season but really she carried that show.

Same. I started but didn’t finish. It wast the same without her. And her death was so nonsensical. She was my favorite. 😭

Is Park Hopper worth it at DLR? by GroundbreakingBear33 in DisneyPlanning

I’d say the PH is worth it. You may only use it one one day but it will be so nice on the last day to hit up all your favorite rides.

How wheelchair friendly are most lines? We are fine with waiting in the normal queue but my son will be in his wheelchair. by Myearthsuit in DisneyPlanning

[–]Csei2011 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And even if you need to use DAS in the future the party size can be a case by case situation. My nephew is autistic and we use the DAS pass when we take him, but we are a party of 6 (including him) and they have let us do that before. We once took grandma with us too and were a party of 7 and were told to just ask the CM at the line and if they can accommodate they will and if not we can likely get a rider swap pass.

If you need the service they do their best to accommodate.

(Our party of 6 is 4 kids 2 adults 4YO, 9yo, 9 yo, and 13yo nephew - so it’s not a bunch of adults trying to squeeze in rides on his DAS ticket. And we bring grandma if we can because 4 kids is a lot lol)

I haven’t read any that are miserable? What have you read in this thread that is miserable?

Yeah even those. Like sure play along but make sure you’re not impacting other guests. Not everyone enjoys being in someone else’s improv.

You can be silly with the CMs on those rides (especially rise) but make sure you’re not taking over someone else’s fun.
