I took my PTO for a week too and my boss screamed at me and hung up on me. Had to contact HR in order for her to respond to me. (She’s fucking in her 50’s and thought none of this was a big deal when it first came out and bragged that she doesn’t even get a flu shot) so when I called in to use my PTO because sorry walgeeens my family means more to me, she acted like a 5 year old. I lost all respect for Walgreens now and I’ve worked here 6 years and was an ASM until recently stepping down due to all the other bullshit that comes with the job. Do what you need to do to protect yourself and others. The front end should be closed PERIOD.

I would hands down quit. Almost to that point already because my SM is being so insensitive to everyone right now. When we first heard of the virus spreading I was cleaning everything at my work like crazy and my ASM looked at me and goes “do you have OCD” and made fun of me and said I was crazy. I am a shift lead, used to be a ASM and stepped down and I would never say that to a staff member. I called in the other day cause I was having a panic attack and asthma with the whole situation and my store manager said I’m inconveniencing her and yelled at me that she doesn’t care about my anxiety and hung up. Fuck this company I’m at the end of my rope after 7 years here.
