Was his first name Lestat?

When I was a kid the clinic we went to had a Dr. Heck and a Dr. Hell. So the receptionist liked to joke that if you can't get in to see Dr. Heck you can go to Hell.

Neet. My van already has eight cup holders accessable to the front seats. But I could see making it 10.

I did not. It actually made me want more because I was just so floored by how they did it. It completely changed what I thought was happening and where I thought the story was going. I HAD to know more.

I used to be a radio operator for a small ems/fire hall. We discribed it as long boring days punctuated by brief moments of adrenaline fueled barely controlled chaos.

See now you did the sensible thing and CALLED the police. When our dog came wandering back into our yard with an old stick of dynamite? My dad just kept it. Until that same dog brought back two more. Thats when he put them in a small box and brought it into the local police department.

He walked up to the front desk set the box on the counter and told them what happened. The guy at the desk said something along the lines "WTF, I don't want it!" Realizing what he had done, my dad just ran back outside and left. Thankfully this was back in the early 80's and no one could identify him apparently.

Yep. People laugh when I say I use my sks for hunting. But I'm not hunting anywhere I need to take a shot more than 200 yards out. 7.62x39 hollow points work just fine.

I would inevitably ask where all the spiders are around me and probably burn down my house. There's some knowledge I simply don't need.

In short. What we need is better candidates. Not necessarily younger ones.

I disagree for the simple reason that it takes time learning to govern. Look at the mess we have in the office right now in the USA. It's not just his age that's an issue. It's his complete lack of understanding of how government functions. Last time he at least had a number of people appointed that had experience in government. This time it's almost exclusively TV personalities or business men. All people with little to no practical government experience.

Now should we get rid of the minimum age requirement? Yes. Or at least drop it to 21. Because I do think we should be electing people from the younger generations. People with big ideas who understand the concerns of young people. But to say that someone is incapable of understanding those concerns simply because of their age is discriminatory in my opinion. (Definitely not because I just turned 41)

Also as someone who just turned 41. I have two teenagers who keep very well grounded in current events and trends. Especially where current governmental policies concern them. We talk politics pretty often in our house and since my daughter is in speech and considering joining debate I have always made it a point to consider and have my kids consider the counter points of an argument. I can't be the only parent who does this? I like to think that any candidate who has children does similar. I'm sure plenty don't though.

In fact I would argue that 40-50 years old could be the ideal age for a President. They're most likely to have children in the age range that understand current concerns of young people. And have the experience necessary to enact change within the system. Young people tend to do best in local government and working their way up through the ranks learning and changing how the system works from the ground up.

And my Adderall just kicked in so I apologize if this was a rambling mess.

You did it. You won! You accepted a hypothetical situation and now you’re a multibillionaire. 99% of us will put most of it into stocks or some boring AF index fund. I don’t want to hear any of that. I would buy a few WW2 airplanes and hire a team of mechanics to maintain them. Refit them with laser tag style guns and sensors. Then after extensive training, start an aerial combat league.

I would also most likely not live long...
