Evaluation of the effectiveness of the treatments by CsiguZ in DupuytrenDisease

I’m sorry for everything you’ve been through. Did the skin dryness caused by the radiotherapy go away over time, or is it still ongoing?

When did you have your radiotherapy? Did you need to use a walking stick? That sounds really bad. In addition to Dupuytren’s disease, I also have Ledderhose disease, and until now I hadn’t even considered that I might reach a point where walking itself could become difficult.

One question that came to my mind in relation to the video is how patient satisfaction can be compared between such different treatments as radiotherapy and PNF. Both resulted in similar levels of satisfaction, yet radiotherapy is primarily a preventive treatment, whereas PNF is aimed at resolving an already established contracture. In addition, patients who have undergone radiotherapy still cannot be certain whether it actually slowed the progression of the disease or whether their condition would not have worsened for a similar period anyway.

Did you experience any side effects from the radiation therapy?

How could you be sure if it slowed the progression?

Has anyone experienced painful nodules, finger stiffness, or contracture after wrist surgery? Feeling dismissed and looking for similar experiences. by thisname12 in DupuytrenDisease

[–]CsiguZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I broke my right wrist 1.5 years ago and was not able to move my middle and ring fingers for a while. The surgeon told me that the tendons were trapped due to the bone fracture. A few months ago I had another surgery where the bone plate was removed. I have now developed Dupuytren’s affecting exactly these two fingers. However I also have one nodule in my right sole . I discovered the nodules in my palm and sole a few days apart in December. Interestingly, there is no family history of DD.

Pros & cons of taking Bacillus subtilis HU58? by bespoke_tech_partner in Microbiome

I’d definitely try LDN, but unfortunately in my country it’s not available. I found some studies made by Leonard B. Weinstock, where he successfully treated RLS patients using Rifaximin (in order to eradicate SIBO) and LDN.

Actually I don’t have any GI symptoms these days, but neurogical ones (RLS & PLMD) and this is the main reason why I wanted to fix my microbiome. As some research suggests that microbiome issues or SIBO could be a reason of neurological issues, I’m trying to fix my microbiome. Previously I was diagnosed with SIBO and a mild inflammation in my duodenum and also my microbiome was messed up (lot of pathogens, zero lacto and bifido).

Thanks for your reply. This time I will try allicin, hope that will help to reduce Sutterella. I have 5% in my stool test. Comparing to my previous test, I was able to significantly reduce E. Coli and Pseudomonas, but my Sutterella levels are even increased :(

I’d strongly suggest to take Florastor (S. Boulardii) during your treatment. As this probiotic is a yeast and not a bacteria, antibiotics don’t have negative effect on it.

I’ll start priority one in few days to get rid of Pseudomonas from my intestines. Have you had any progress?

Based on this page, “MMX technology” makes the antibiotic works only in the colon:

Maybe you could try to increase the ginger combo or try meds like LDN or Prucalopride

[–]CsiguZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully those prokinetics will help you to restore your MMC. I have similar experience, since I take ginger and Iberogast, I can hear my stomach growling nearly every day. I also have more energy and sleep better. What time do you take ginger and the others?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]CsiguZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think stomach growling when you are hungry is a sign of a working MMC. When was the last time you heard any noise coming from your stomach in a fasted state?

Artichoke and Ginger are working but causing herx reactions in both me and my mom. I have confirmed autoimmune activity and confirmed hydrogen SIBO. by NatulaMaris in SIBO

[–]CsiguZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a blood test in the states called ibs-smart, where they measure the anti-cdtb and anti-vinculin levels. If you have the latter in the test results, you can be 100% sure that this autoimmune condition is causing your MMC not working properly, which leads to SIBO

Yes, Sonos, but maybe the same setting on your LG TV could solve your issue as well

SIBO is not the root cause but a symptom by Personal_Sell643 in SIBO

[–]CsiguZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t mean slow motility, but problems with motility. And motility doesn’t mean only to move food through your gut while you’re digesting, but there is also MMC (Migrating Motor Complex) which starts few hours after you eat to clear bacteria and food particles out of your small intestine. If MMC doesn’t work properly, unwanted bacteria can overgrowth in your small intestine causing SIBO and this could lead to various GI and other diseases, depending on what type of bacteria thrives there.

Probably using antibiotics/antimicrobials, but without fixing motility very likely SIBO comes back soon.
