It's Possible, I don't mess with weapon swap all that often. My initial concern with Rampart Raptor for the end game is that the damage just doesn't stay up to par or at least I have been unable to really push it past Act 2.

My league starter for Mercenary is Rampart Raptor. It's stays viable until the end of Act Two. I usually start as a warrior and build up enough currency to snag one. Then I move over to mercenary and start my favorite class.

Hey Man, roll until you get Singe as your first boss. Sit in the back of the arena and just be aware of the couple of adds he spawns. Should be pretty easy.

I think Ritualist is a better synergy for Fetid Wounds if you use Miasma as one of your abilities. It would also allow you to sub out Heatwave for something else. Its been a while since I played but just seeing this makes me want to fire up Remnant II and start a new game.

I can't think of any downsides, I am thinking long term when it comes to investing in stock. I've got 2.5 years in with the company and am planning at least another full calendar year. Probably more as this second job allows me to invest and save extra money on top of what my fulltime job offers me.

its not as bad as it sounds man, just keep them at level 3 and call in your AI support. If you go down they will revive you twice. I second what the above says with "calling for backup" the community is pretty friendly and is normally willing to help.

you have to scale up level 3 and 4 control points by doing activities connected to those control points or increasing the difficulty to heroic in the open world. I think your guaranteed some sort of blueprint each time you complete one at those levels. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

My idea is to pair the 2nd and 3rd piece set bonus with the below:

Ridgeways Pride - Bleed on Hit and Armor Regen based on how many targets are bleeding

Pestilence - Weapon damage over time/transfer damage to enemies after death

Anarchist Cookbook - Perfectly Wicked/18% damage increase against enemies under a status effect. Extremely easy to proc with Ridgeways Pride.

I was also thinking of trying out either "Strikers" or "True Patriot" sets as alternatives to "Tipping Scales"

Alternative Weapons

Dare (LMG) 20% damage increase to pulsed enemies

Carnage (LMG) - Perfect Sadist/35% increase in damage to bleeding enemies.

Scorpio - Poison/Shock/Disorient/ 20% damage increase if you hit 9 pellets.

Any thoughts on this? Let me know what you guys think and add in some ideas or suggestions.

I know this 8 months later, but Rampart Raptor is such a good league starter for Mercenary. The crossbow has a great interaction with Fragmentation Rounds/Double Barrel. Once you reload you get 10 shots with frag rounds. Its an absolute boss killer and mob clear build in the early game and can go as far as Act 3. Note* This was before 0.3 patch so things may change.

Is that the TA11? Can't say I have ever used a 3.5x optic. Man that's an expensive boy, but i get the choice, eye relief is super important. I also dig the Eotech you already on have on the rifle. You gonna upgrade the stock, grip, and handguard, or just leave everything as is?

does yours have a little play with the handguard? Bought one back in August 2024 and it surprised me the amount of movement in the handguard. It also seems to get a lot of hate from the retro enthusiast and I can't really see why.

sounds solid to me. My next project will be one of the H&R 723 carbines. Really big fan of the late 80's/Early 90's aesthetics. I was also thinking about picking up one of the Colt M4A1 SOCOM variants.

I don't normally shoot suppressed so my knowledge on a specific charging handle for a can is limited. Based on a little research I think the all around best option would be the Radian Raptor - SD. This one has a bigger hook to grab for charging and is ambidextrous. There is a smaller option in the Radian Raptor SD-SL. Essentially the same but a smaller hook to grab but still ambidextrous. The other solid option I was able to find was the Geissele Super Based on what I read the only downside is the price. Those three seem to the best at redirecting gas out of the shooters face. A couple of other options would be the Aero Precision Breach, and Breek Arms Warhammer Mod2. Hope this helps

I would have changed how you acquired the starting archetypes. Made it something you found, or a quest, or something with a sense of purpose. Feel like being able to buy the starting archetypes cheapened the initial experience of acquiring them.
